Always looking to immerse myself in different cultures by trying local cuisine and drinks, and exploring unique experiences. Currently living in Nashville but dreaming of eventually living in Cape Town, South Africa.
My travel style
From camping in remote villages in Madagascar, to safaris lodges in South Africa, to luxury hotels on the coast of Greece and Portugal – you can find me enjoying all types of travel that this amazing world has to offer. I live for immersive experiences where I really get to know the culture I’m visiting. Whether that’s through cooking classes, overnight volcano hiking trips or sipping the local wine at a vineyard, I love to experience culture in a hands-on way.
Ace Hotel New Orleans
A Warehouse District gem close to the French Quarter, with handsome rooms, two hotspot restaurants and a rooftop pool deck with knockout views.
Kimpton Armory Hotel Bozeman
The new luxury digs in rapidly-changing Bozeman, your gateway to Yellowstone National Park, with mountain views in most rooms and a gorgeous rooftop pool.
Urban Cowboy Nashville
One-of-a-kind East Nashville boutique, housed in a Victorian mansion, with just eight individually-designed rooms and a backyard cocktail bar.
Recently returned from:
Cage diving with sharks in South Africa.
Exploring the renowned wine lands and historic towns of Portugal.
Sleeping on top of a volcano in Guatemala.
Eating delicious, fresh food while soaking in amazing views of Greece.
Hiking to the summit at Mount Kilimanjaro.
Exploring Cartagena, Colombia and its nearby Caribbean islands.
Canoeing down the Okavango Delta in Botswana during migration season.
Relaxing in the vineyards of Tuscany, Italy.
One thing I can't travel without...
My old film camera.
Two truths, one lie:
I thought I was going to be arrested in Vienna, Austria when I lived there.
I’ve experienced hyenas running through my campsite in Tanzania.
I was mistaken for a waitress at Oktoberfest in Munich and had to work for an hour.
