We couldn’t have asked for better guidance than Jean provided us with. She was quick to respond to our plan ideas and questions. She made me feel very comfortable about reaching out to her for assistance from the planning stages through the entire vacation.

Thank you so much for helping us plan this adventure. It definitely was a challenge to do the trek and we were glad that we worked hard to prepare in advance. The trekking experience with MLP added so much to the trip, Machu Picchu would not have been as meaningful had we not had the trekking experience and time with our very able guide prior to getting there. The lodges were lovely and the food was outstanding. We were fortunate to be in a small group (3 couples and a guide) of people who had a similar pace. Our guide (Pepe) was experienced and provided great context to our experiences. So happy that you recommended MLP. 5 stars.

Very easy to work with Jean. Had a number of excursion changes due to travel companions wants and all were handled without issue. Would recommend her to anyone.

There was so much to love about the trip. Everything exceeded our expectations, but for us the convenience of having everything setup in advance, including free time was a difference maker. We are adventure-loving, low energy travelers, who also work super stressful jobs. The keys to travel for us is to have enough adventure, paired with downtime, but without adding stress to relaxing vacations. Jean listened to those needs and met them. She handled the planning with the on location tour company and made sure we had the built in time we needed to rest and not rush. Instead of us figuring out everything in a place we'd never been, Jean found us the perfect guides who booked us in all the perfect locations and got us where we needed to go timely so we didn't have to stress about missing anything. She even arranged for us to have language lessons so we could better enjoy our time in country. The local travel group, Lares, was amazing. They were always on time and always ready to answer our questions. It felt like we had friends showing us all the best. I'd do it all again one thousand times.

Pamplona's San Fermín Festival: More Than the Running of the Bulls
Every July 6–14, the streets of Pamplona come alive with music, tradition, and a sea of red and white as the city honors its patron saint, San Fermín. Though the Running of the Bulls has made this festival world-famous—and undeniably controversial—there’s so much more to it than that. Rooted in centuries-old religious and cultural traditions, San Fermín is a vibrant celebration of community, devotion, food, and joy. For me, it’s a deeply human experience—where strangers become family and the rhythm of life is lived fully in the streets.

Enchanting Iceland: 8-Day Itinerary for First-Time Travelers
First-time visitor to Iceland? A road trip along the South Coast is the perfect introduction to this magical country. While many people stop after the Golden Circle or take on the entirety of the Ring Road, this itinerary allows you to delve deep into the island nation’s beauty without overwhelming yourself. If you're anything like me, visiting Iceland once won't be enough. Its natural wonders are so captivating that they beckon us back time and time again. So, on your first trip, embrace the allure of the South Coast, where stunning landscapes, geothermal spas and charming towns await. To make the most of your journey, I recommend exploring Iceland during the shoulder seasons (April to May and September to October). Not only will you find fewer crowds and slightly cheaper prices, but you'll also have the chance to savor longer daylight hours in the spring or to see the Northern Lights in the fall. And while the weather is never a guarantee in Iceland, driving conditions should be pretty good as well. So pack your hiking boots, short sleeves, fleece layers, rain gear (top and bottom!), sunglasses, bathing suit and camera, and let’s go!
