Dreamer and creative. When I’m not designing spaces, I’m often wandering in new places soaking up inspiration. I enjoy hosting family and friends with perfectly curated adventures and dinner parties.
My travel style
My travel style is solo adventurer. Five years ago, I began a “treat to self” tradition of traveling every February in celebration of my birthday. Each itinerary begins with a dreamy boutique hotel – the smaller the better! Whether it’s a stunning luxury property like Hotel Calimala in Florence or a bohemian, retreat-style property like Finca Victoria in Vieques, selecting a stay is a special part of travel for me. I spend some days checking things off my must-see and must-do list at an exciting pace. Other days, I let the city charm me while I wander without a map, capture abstract photos and chat with the lovely people I meet along the way. I stumble upon some of the best experiences, complete with great food and wine, when I leave some unplanned time in my itinerary — I can’t make better plans than God! I am currently on a long-term stay adventure around Europe and I am excited to share what I’ve enjoyed so far and what’s to come.
Historic meets glamorous Florence hotel with unparalleled service, 24-hour concierge and an exclusive rooftop and restaurant with views over the entire city.
Finca Victoria Vieques
A farmhouse-style bed and breakfast in the heart of the small island of Vieques with creative suites and an Ayurvedic center.
The Manfredi Palm Suites, just steps from the Colosseum, is a unique concept with modern design and color splash wedged inside a historic building for a stylish traveler.
A welcome cocktail each in the Court lounge bar at Palazzo Manfredi.
Recently returned from:
Showering outside and star gazing in Vieques.
Sunbathing in Cinque Terre.
Guzzling wine and Sunday lunches in Tuscany.
Watching the sunset in Zadar.
Spending three months wandering through Portugal.
Gathering inspiration in Morocco.
Eating my way through Spain.
Returning to Italy to study Italian.
One thing I can't travel without...
My Dagne Dover Carryall bag.
Two truths, one lie:
Photos of me were once featured on “Project Runway”.
I was once detained in Rome due to some train station confusion.
I took a bruising tumble down a hill in Tuscany while hiking with people I’d just met.
