A part-time London resident who is a sucker for off-the-beaten-path adventures, a religious reader of restaurant menus and a global health professional with a passion for ethical travel.
CHS, DCA and LHR depending on who I am visiting.
My travel style
I have stayed everywhere from beachfront hostels in the Philippines to extravagant palaces in India. Before taking a trip you will find me researching for hours and reading all of the local menus. During a trip you will find me getting all of the local recommendations, hanging out in nature and allowing myself to get lost! I love to plan but always allow myself to go where the wind takes me.
Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur
Stately property with traditional Rajasthani decor and elegant rooms.
The Montague on the Gardens
A charming Georgian townhouse in London's West End with live jazz, al fresco dining and chic rooms.
Outpost Beach Hostel
Beachfront hostel with hip mixed-gender dorms.
Recently returned from:
Road tripping through the Isle of Skye.
Island hopping in Croatia.
Camping under the stars and driving through the dunes in one of Egypt's deserts.
Eating and cooking my way through Puglia, Italy.
Swimming with the whales in Tonga.
Tanzania for hiking, safari and gorilla trekking.
Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand for food and beaches.
Belize for all of the chocolate tastings.
One thing I can't travel without...
Two truths, one lie:
I waded through a crocodile sanctuary to see bioluminescent algae in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
I sailed to every island in the Caribbean.
I've repelled down a waterfall taller than the Statue of Liberty in Costa Rica.
