Raised by the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York, environmental stewardship has always been a foundational piece of my ethos. Having had the opportunity to live in Kenya and in Northern India during my undergraduate studies significantly impacted the way in which I view cultural exchange and travel opportunities – with the appropriate amount of care, attention and intention, the experiences can be mutually beneficial and rewarding. From paragliding over the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, backpacking the Nā Pali Coast Trail and pilgrimaging across the continental US on a two-month road trip — I'm always looking for ways to enhance reciprocity and strengthen community in my travels.
