My Story
My love affair with travel began the moment I first wandered the streets of Paris as a teenager—and I’ve been chasing that feeling of discovery ever since. After more than 20 years in public relations—living and working in New York, London, and Toronto—working with people and solving the unexpected is second nature to me. My love language has always been acts of service. I’m endlessly drawn to the new, the under-the-radar, and the boutique hotels that feel like secrets you can’t wait to share. As a Fora travel advisor, I bring all of that together to design thoughtful, memorable trips that help others fall in love with the world the way I did.
Travel Style
My travel style is rooted in discovery—seeking out places that feel special, intentional, and a little under the radar, where service, soul, design, and sense of place matter just as much as comfort. I’m drawn to boutique properties with personality, whether that’s on a remote Greek island, a charming Parisian block, or a beach escape that truly delights both parents and kids. I love the process of sourcing what’s exceptional, working closely with hotels and local partners, and weaving every detail into a thoughtfully crafted itinerary that reflects you, not a formula. Whether it’s a long weekend in New York or a two-week family adventure through Europe, I approach every trip with the same passion—creating space for adventure, ease, connection, and beautifully considered boutique luxury.

From start to finish, our trip to Rome was impeccably planned. Martha made sure every detail was handled and we were able to enjoy a stress free, wonderful holiday! The location of our hotel couldn’t have been better and all of her suggestions for food, sightseeing etc were perfect. We will absolutely be coming back to Fora Travel for all of our trips in the future.

We had an excellent experience working with Martha. From the start, she was incredibly thorough, providing a range of thoughtfully curated options across different price points, which made it easy to find something that fit exactly what we were looking for without feeling overwhelmed.
What really stood out was how high-touch her service is. She was consistently prompt, proactive with follow-ups, and always one step ahead in anticipating what we might need. Beyond just booking accommodations, she offered great suggestions for restaurants and local experiences that genuinely enhanced our trip.
Martha went above and beyond to make the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Everything felt well-managed and intentional, which allowed us to fully relax and focus on the experience rather than the logistics.
If you’re looking to plan a luxury trip and want someone who is organized, responsive, and deeply invested in making your travel experience exceptional, I can’t recommend Martha highly enough.

Martha is an absolute pro and made our trip to the Dominican Republic seamless from start to finish, even traveling with an infant. She handled every detail with such care and thoughtfulness that we were able to truly relax and enjoy ourselves. She made the trip feel effortless despite traveling with a little one. Martha is incredibly organized, responsive, and always one step ahead, and we felt so well taken care of throughout the entire process. Martha truly elevated this experience beyond anything we could have planned ourselves, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free getaway!

Île de Ré: Bikes, Oysters & the Art of Doing Nothing
I didn’t expect to love Île de Ré, but it quietly became one of those places I can’t stop thinking about. Just off the Atlantic coast, it has a distinctly French rhythm—effortless, understated, and completely unbothered. Days are best spent on bikes, moving between storybook villages like La Flotte and Saint-Martin, stopping for oysters and long, lingering lunches along the way. It’s rare to find a destination that feels this chic yet this easy—equally suited to slow family travel and a more refined, under-the-radar escape. You’ll hear very little English, which only adds to its charm—and why I hesitate, slightly, to give it away.

Peloponnese to Paros: A Family Adventure, Rooted in Discovery
Greece has been the setting for some of the most important birthdays of my life, so going back for my 40th with my kids felt like the only place that made sense. I was a little unsure about returning to places I had loved so much years ago, especially now traveling differently and needing different things, but the trip only made me love it more. There was something really special about moving through a country that already meant so much to me, while watching my kids experience it with fresh eyes—on quiet beaches, on boats, in little towns, over long dinners, and in all the in-between moments that make a trip feel like it really settles into you. More than anything, it reminded me that Greece is one of those rare places that keeps giving you something new, no matter how many times you go or what stage of life you’re in.

Fifth Ave Hotel: A Hotel Worth Dressing Up For
The Fifth Avenue Hotel is a design hotel in the truest sense: bold, layered, romantic, and entirely self-assured. I have stayed here twice now, and both times I have still found myself in awe of just how beautiful it is. With interiors by Martin Brudnizki, every corner feels deeply considered, from the fabric-lined walls to the jewel-toned rooms and the little tucked-away nooks that make the hotel feel personal rather than simply polished. This is not an everyday hotel. It is a special-occasion hotel, the kind of place I would choose for an anniversary, milestone birthday, or celebration that deserves to feel memorable. Portrait Bar sets the mood perfectly: intimate, elegant, and ideal for a romantic pre-dinner drink or a celebratory nightcap. What makes the hotel truly stand out, though, is the service. The staff knows your name, makes you feel genuinely welcome, and reminds you that friendly, personal hospitality is a lost art. There is no gym, and the location is not my usual downtown preference, but I would make the trip any day for a hotel this special.

The Manner: A New Home in SoHo
The Manner feels like a welcome, different addition to SoHo—a hotel with a real identity in a neighborhood full of imitators. Condé Nast Traveler’s take on its “nostalgic utopia” vibe feels spot on: It’s dramatic without being cold, and stylish without trying too hard. The incredible service only deepens the feeling that this place knows exactly what it is.

J.K. Place Roma: It's All in the Details
J.K. Place Roma felt special to me in the way the most memorable hotels always do: not simply beautiful, but deeply felt. What lingered long after my stay was the extraordinary care behind every detail—a kind of hospitality that was elegant, instinctive, and genuinely personal, making the entire experience feel effortless from start to finish. Even without a spa or gym, nothing about the stay felt lacking; it was so thoughtfully orchestrated, so warm, and polished, that it more than delivered the full measure of a true five-star experience. And at the heart of it all is the lobby—luminous, and grand beneath its cathedral ceilings by day, then irresistibly intimate at night, with the glow of candlelight and the fireplace giving it the romance of a private residence in Rome.
