Peru had long been on our bucket list—a place filled with ancient history, rich culture, and breathtaking natural beauty. From the mystical ruins of Machu Picchu to the vibrant colors of Rainbow Mountain, every day brought a sense of wonder and discovery. It was a meaningful trip that pushed us physically, connected us to the past, and left us with a deep appreciation for the spirit of the Andes. Experiencing it with my mom made it even more unforgettable.

New Zealand and Fiji—places we’d always dreamed of visiting—felt like the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation for our honeymoon. New Zealand’s dramatic landscapes, epic hikes, and friendly towns spoke to our love of the outdoors and exploring together. Fiji offered the quiet, romantic escape we craved, where we could unwind, reflect, and soak in the start of our next chapter. Together, these destinations gave us both thrill and peace, making it the most meaningful trip we’ve ever taken.

Peru is a special place to visit because of its rich history, diverse landscapes and vibrant culture. There is so much to see in addition to the masterpiece that is Machu Picchu. The ancient Inca ruins throughout the country, the Amazon Rainforest and unique culinary traditions. The blend of history and natural beauty made it a compelling destination that exceeded all my expectations.

Kaua'i, the "Garden Isle" is special to me because it is a haven for nature lovers. The variety in geology and landscape in each part of the island from Na Pali to Waimea is so diverse and dramatic. It's pristine beaches and environment offers a more serene and less developed community than the other Hawaiian Islands. It is a relaxed, laid-back destination with live music offered at many venues, great restaurants and most importantly: life centered around the natural beauty of the island.

Utah’s National Parks are memorable to me due to their spectacular red rock formations, striking canyons and iconic stone arches. It is a remarkable place to visit regardless of the time of year. Hiking trails like Delicate Arch and Arches National Park are breathtaking and a fun experience for all ages and group sizes. There is something for everyone, no matter the skill level.

I stumbled upon Valle de Guadalupe wine country eight years ago after my mom moved to the San Diego area. When she mentioned how close Tijuana, Mexico, was, I of course, jumped into research mode…curious of how I could put my passport to use so easily! Valle de Guadalupe is about a 90 minute drive from San Diego, California, making it an easy getaway for a day trip, weekend or even longer as I hope you will fall in love with it like I did. The Valle, as I like to call it, is so special to me as it offers picturesque landscapes, a diverse wine scene and innovative culinary destinations. The blend of the Mexican setting with Mediterranean influences is unique and memorable, continuing to bring me back time and time again!
