My Story
New York-born, now living between olive trees and sunsets in Western Sicily. Former city girl turned travel designer, I help people experience Sicily the way locals live it—slowly, deliciously, and with a glass of wine in hand. When I’m not hosting travelers or curating itineraries, you’ll find me in our olive grove with my husband, two kids, three curious pups, and five sassy felines.
Travel Style
I travel for connection and story—the kind you find around a shared table or wandering a quiet piazza at golden hour. I’m happiest mixing boutique comfort with real culture: farm-to-table lunches, vineyard tastings, artisans’ workshops, and long conversations that turn strangers into friends. For me, the people make the place, and every trip should feel like coming home.

I want to sincerely thank you for organizing my wife’s 50th birthday trip to Guatemala and Belize. The selection of hotels was outstanding, and the quality of the activities and excursions truly exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect balance of cultural discovery and relaxing moments.
Your local partner’s support was remarkable, and their service impeccable throughout the journey. We will most certainly turn to you again when the time comes to plan our next magical trip.

Josephine understands how to ask the right questions that deliver what the client wants. She knows her markets and I am happy with the holiday she set up for us. It felt like we were working with a 360 concierge of Sicily. She picked amazing restaurants, the right cities, experiences and was always available for questions.

Josephine asked all the right questions: what I wanted in a hotel, my likes and dislikes, and what kind of experience I was hoping to have. I told her I wanted beautiful views, charming balconies, time at the beach, and the chance to explore magical places. She delivered all of it—and then some.

Caltabellotta: Sicily’s First Blue Zone & Heart of the Sicani Mountains
Caltabellotta is the kind of place that slows your heartbeat the moment you arrive—perched high in the Sicani Mountains, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and endless horizon. Recently named Sicily’s first official Blue Zone, this village embodies the longevity secrets of the island: purposeful movement, deeply rooted community, seasonal food, and a life lived close to nature. It’s also a gateway into the Valle del Belìce, a region known for resilience, authenticity, and some of Sicily’s most breathtaking rural landscapes. For travelers seeking meaning, beauty, and a Sicily untouched by mass tourism, Caltabellotta feels like a revelation.

Slow Travel in Western Sicily: The Valle Del Belíce Guide
The Valle del Belíce is where I fell in love with Sicily’s real rhythm—the kind that moves through olive groves, family kitchens, and hilltop towns rebuilt with heart after the 1968 earthquake. This valley holds my family, my farm, and my heart. It’s a place of resilience and beauty, where ancient traditions still shape everyday life—and I love helping travelers experience its quiet magic.
