Jenna planned the perfect tour for our stay in Crete. It was full day tour of Crete which included a visit to an olive oil factory, a small village in the hills, a farm that provides the fruit and vegetables to restaurants, an amazing farm to table restaurant, a pottery studio and then the ruins of the palace of Knossos. It was a small group, just eight people, our guide was able to really interact with all of us and make us feel comfortable. If you book this tour, I would definitely request Ed as your guide, he was amazing. We traveled to Crete on a high speed ferry from Santorini. If I were to do it again, I would just fly. You really couldn't see out of the ferry windows and it took longer. When we got to the port, we had to take a taxi to the airport to get our rental car. It would have been much easier to just fly. That, however, was my fault. I requested we take a ferry thinking we would get to sit outside and enjoy the sun and water. It wasn't that type of ferry. I would definitely go back to Crete and even stay longer.
