MÖVENPICK RESORT KUREDHIVARU MALDIVES
ABOUT THE RESORT
You can explore the entire island in just about 15-20 minutes. The resort boasts approximately 105 luxurious villas, creating an intimate and secluded island ambiance throughout your stay. MÖVENPICK RESORT KUREDHIVARU MALDIVES is conveniently just a 45-minute seaplane ride from Male airport. Upon arrival at the resort via seaplane, you are welcomed at the jetty with music, applause from the staff, and a refreshing scented towel. You are then introduced to a villa host who will cater to your every need, escorting you to your bungalow or beachfront accommodation on a golf cart.
A range of accommodations is available, including water villas with private pools, beach villas with pools and residences. We opted for the Overwater Pool Villa Ocean. This villa allows an abundance of natural light through its floor-to-ceiling windows and offers unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean. The villa features a contemporary design with cozy bedrooms, equipped with a king-size bed featuring a memory foam mattress. Glass-bottom floors and a private plunge pool on the outdoor deck allow you to immerse yourself in the Maldives' beauty from every angle. An outdoor shower and a standalone bathtub overlooking the ocean make your stay truly enchanting. All villas include a 55" LCD TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, a minibar and Mӧvenpick coffee with an espresso machine for your enjoyment. The pool deck offers sun loungers and a daybed, making it the perfect spot to witness the sunset.
THINGS TO DO
The resort offers a plethora of activities, from Scuba diving and snorkeling excursions to dolphin watching, motorized and non-motorized water sports, sunset cruises, scenic flights, private sunset dinners, fishing, cultural activities and much more. The abundant marine life and calm waters make it an ideal spot for snorkeling and guests have complimentary access to snorkeling equipment throughout their stay. After a day of snorkeling, indulge in relaxation at the Sun Spa By Healing Earth, which offers a variety of facials, wraps, and massages, including Balinese and Thai-style treatments. The globally award-winning wellness and beauty brand, Healing Earth, has designed exclusive treatments inspired by Africa's rich natural resources, conducted in private overwater or jungle treatment rooms for your ultimate rejuvenation. Maintain your health and fitness routine during your Maldives vacation at the 24/7 fitness center, equipped with treadmills, free weights, strength-training and cardio machines, along with daily group or personal training sessions led by experienced trainers.
The resort boasts four restaurants that allow guests to savor fresh cuisine with delightful surprises in store. Onu Marche offers delectable food in a breezy setting under an atmospheric bamboo roof. It's a market-style restaurant where you can enjoy à la carte and buffet breakfasts and dinners, as well as intriguing signature weekly theme nights. Latitude 5.5, the trendy poolside restaurant, boasts just the right ambiance, a relaxed atmosphere, a picturesque waterfront location, breathtaking ocean views and excellent grilled meats. Bodumas, the romantic overwater restaurant, offers incredible ocean and beach views from its overwater pavilion. Lastly, Mövenpick Coffee & Wine Lounge offers a taste of café culture in the Maldives, featuring top-quality products including coffee, chocolate, ice cream and wine. The highlight here is the Mövenpick Chocolate Hour, where you can indulge in a selection of decadent delights, complimentary every day.
Need to Know
The Maldives consists of over 1,000 separate islands, some of which are closer to each other than others. Reaching some islands may require both a seaplane and a boat ride. Opting for Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives, which involves a seaplane ride, is the quickest way to your resort. After a long flight to the Maldives, this can make a significant difference compared to resorts that require both a plane and boat ride, thereby extending an already long day.
Indulging in the floating breakfast is an absolute must during your stay. It's a delightful holiday experience that's sure to be enjoyed by guests of all ages, and it's served right in the opulent privacy of your personal pool. At Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives, the floating breakfast is designed for two guests, but they are also happy to cater to solo travelers and customize it for individuals.
