Girls Just Wanna Cruise!
Curator’s statement

This trip was exactly what I needed—a mix of adventure, total relaxation, and quality time with my best girlfriends. Sailing with Virgin Voyages felt fresh, fun, and indulgent in all the right ways. From sunrise yoga (I didn’t make that), morning mimosas to dancing under the stars in Bimini, we laughed, reconnected, and made unforgettable memories. It was the kind of trip that fills your soul—and makes you immediately want to book the next one.

In February of 2024, I sailed on Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady with three of my closest girlfriends (we play tennis together almost everyday!) for the ultimate grown-up girls’ getaway. We flew to Miami and stayed at the beautiful Intercontinental Hotel, where we watched boats all along the water from our hotel room! The cruise departed Miami and made stops in Cozumel, Mexico and Bimini Beach Club in the Bahamas. Virgin’s adults-only vibe set the perfect tone from the start—no stress, no kids, just endless ways to unwind and let loose.

We spent our sea days enjoying poolside lounging with cocktails in hand. The food onboard was unexpectedly incredible—no buffets here, just world-class dining at chic, trendy restaurants (we especially loved Pink Agave and The Wake). Even the casual food hall (aka the galley) felt elevated.

In Cozumel, we did a low-key walk around town with frozen drinks and clear turquoise water. But the real highlight was Bimini. Virgin’s exclusive beach club there felt like a private island retreat. We ate, swam, drank pina coladas with a “dark rum floater”, and even took naps in shaded daybeds—it was pure bliss.

Watching my friends fully relax, laugh, and reconnect without any of our usual distractions made me realize how powerful these kinds of getaways can be. It wasn’t just a cruise. It was a reset.

If you’re looking for a stylish, fun, and luxurious way to escape—with friends, your partner, or even solo—Virgin Voyages is the way to go. No stuffiness. No pressure. Just good vibes and great memories!

Need to know

No kids allowed: this is an adults-only cruise, and it makes a big difference in the atmosphere.

Gratuities, wi-fi, essential drinks, and all food are included in the fare.

Book your dining early via the Virgin Voyages app—some restaurants fill up quickly!

Don’t miss Scarlet Night: It’s a themed party night where everyone wears red and the ship comes alive.

Bimini’s beach club is free to enter with your cruise and has both quiet and party zones.

Pack activewear if you want to try sunrise yoga or a workout class—it’s a great way to start the day.
