Wildflower Farms - Hudson Valley, NY
Janine’s Take

Auberge Resorts Collections' Wildflower Farms opened in early October 2022 in Gardiner, NY, about a 90-minute drive from the city. It's quite special – has similar vibes to Tierra Patagonia, with its eco-chic rustic feel in a spectacular natural setting. I just visited for the day and had a massage at its spa, which amazingly takes outside guests.

Where to stay

The property is set on 140 acres and has over 60 standalone villas – it's definitely on the large side for a boutique country retreat, and because the restaurant and spa are open to locals, it was busy on a Sunday afternoon. It's also right next to Hudson Whiskey Distillery, and it's within easy driving distance of the cute river towns of Kingston, Hudson and Beacon.

The hotel is currently booked out for the rest of October and parts of November. It's a great addition to the Hudson Valley and will no doubt be one of its premier properties.
