Things to do in Mont-Tremblant
If you’re heading to Mont-Tremblant in the winter, skiing or snowboarding is a must! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, the mountain has something for everyone.
For the experts, there are plenty of thrilling trails to keep you on your toes. For beginners, the gentler slopes offer the perfect opportunity to practice while soaking in the stunning views.
If it’s your first time on the slopes, Mont-Tremblant’s ski school is top-notch! You’ll love the friendly service, and you can choose between private or group lessons to suit your style.
For a well-rounded trip, I usually recommend including two to three days of skiing in your itinerary — it’s the perfect amount to fully enjoy the experience. And no worries if you don’t have your own gear — their rental service has high-quality equipment, and the staff is super helpful in getting you set up.
If skiing isn’t your thing, or you just want to mix it up with other activities, Mont-Tremblant has plenty of exciting options:
Take the panoramic gondola to the top of the mountain for breathtaking views, no skis required.
Ice skating or snow tubing — Perfect for a fun-filled afternoon on the ice.
Snowshoeing or cross-country skiing — Explore the beautiful winter trails at your own pace.
Dog sledding — An unforgettable, unique experience where you can either drive your own team of dogs or relax as a passenger.
Helicopter rides — For the adventurous at heart, take to the skies and discover the region from a whole new perspective.
Places to eat & drink in Mont-Tremblant
Le Shack: this place is great for a quick lunch in the middle of a ski session or for an après-ski drink. The menu has a wide range of options, and you can also try the Poutine, a famous Quebec dish.
La Pizzateria: great place for a simple lunch or dinner. The pizzas and their starters are great options. Make sure you get there early or with enough time. There is usually a wait to get a table.
Beaver Tails/Queues de Castor: for dessert you have to make sure to try the famous Beaver Tails. They’re a Quebec tradition, and you can choose the toppings of your preference. You can also find Poutine here.
These are just a few of my favorites, but Mont-Tremblant offers so many more incredible dining experiences, including some amazing fine dining spots. Trust me, there’s something for everyone!
