Curator’s statement
Anguilla holds a special place in my heart because of its unmatched sense of peace and understated luxury. Staying at the Four Seasons Villas was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had—the private villa setting, stunning ocean views, and top-tier service created the perfect balance of comfort and exclusivity. The entire resort felt incredibly tranquil, almost like time slowed down just enough for me to truly unwind. It’s a destination that reminds me how beautiful and enjoyable simplicity can be, and how powerful it is to feel completely at ease in your surroundings.

Things to do in Anguilla

The "Mokes" you can drive around the island to do as you please, either for four hours or the entire day!
Cruising the island in a Moke
Driving a colorful open-air Moke around the island was such a fun and freeing way to explore—from beach-hopping to grabbing lunch at a roadside BBQ, it made every moment feel like a mini adventure.
Relaxing at the villa
This was truly the heart of the trip—having a private villa to return to after each outing made the entire experience feel effortless and luxurious. The calm atmosphere and thoughtful service made relaxation come naturally.
Beach days at Shoal Bay
One of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. Powdery white sand, turquoise water, and a few local spots to grab a drink or a bite—perfect for a full day of sun and serenity.
Local cuisine & beachfront dining
From upscale restaurants to casual beach shacks, the food scene in Anguilla is incredible. Fresh seafood, island spices, and friendly service made every meal memorable.
Snorkeling & water adventures
There’s amazing snorkeling just off the coast—calm waters and vibrant marine life made it a fun, low-key way to explore under the surface.
Visiting Sandy Island
A short boat ride away, this tiny offshore gem is the definition of a tropical escape—soft sand, fresh seafood, and a laid-back vibe that makes you feel like you’re on your own private island.
Doing absolutely nothing
Truly one of the best parts of Anguilla is that it invites you to slow down. Whether you’re swinging in a hammock, lounging by the pool, or reading by the ocean, it’s a destination that makes stillness feel intentional and luxurious.
Places to eat & drink in Anguilla

The locally sourced lobster roll. It was absolutely mouth-watering, just like a Maine lobster roll!
Salt: Four Seasons Resort
Salt quickly became a favorite during my stay: elevated island cuisine paired with stunning ocean views. The breakfast spread was unforgettable, and dinner here felt like a true fine dining experience with a relaxed, beachy elegance.
The Straw Hat
Located right on Meads Bay, this spot has an incredible setting and even better food. I loved the fresh catch of the day and creative cocktails. It’s casual but refined, perfect for a sunset dinner with your feet practically in the sand.
Blanchard’s Beach Shack
An Anguilla staple! It’s the ultimate casual beach stop with delicious, fast, and fresh options. Think fish tacos, burgers, and frozen drinks—all served steps from the sea in a laid-back atmosphere.
Picante
This colorful little hole-in-the-wall Mexican spot brought some unexpected spice to the trip—and it was SO good. Their margaritas and fresh-made chorizo queso hit the spot after a beach day, and the vibe was fun and festive without being overdone.
Room service at the Four Seasons Villas
Not something I usually rave about, but the in-villa dining at the Four Seasons was exceptional. Breakfast delivered to our terrace with the ocean as a backdrop felt indulgent and peaceful, and late-night bites were just as thoughtful and well-prepared.
