Curator’s statement

Saint Lucia is special to me because it’s a place where I have family and friends and have made many special memories. The island has beaches, historical landmarks, fine dining and many outlets for outdoor activities, such as swimming, sailing and walking in nature. There is also a wide variety of entertainment venues and live performances for travelers to enjoy!

Arrive at Hewonarra Airport in Vieux Fort and have the driver take you to Castries where you can catch a bite to eat at Chef Robbie’s restaurant, located right across from the hotel and the Marina. Then, head to the Rodney Bay Mall for some shopping and people-watching before heading back to the hotel to unwind.

Day 2: Visit Pigeon Pointe National Park

Today, you are headed to Pigeon Pointe National Park where you can enjoy the adjacent beach and take a hike on one of the park's many trails. Later, we will head to the Breadfruit Bar in Gros Islet for some liming and music. I highly recommend this park as it is very family-friendly and easy to get to with a rental or local bus.

Day 3: Visit Castries Market

We are up early today to take a local bus to the Castries Market, which has lots of local cultural shops and delicious street food. You’ll see many people and lots of cultural spots around the downtown Castries areas.

Next, let’s dance! It’s Friday night and we are headed to Gros Islet for their weekly Friday night street party where there will many people, food and alcohol vendors, great music and great vibes.

Day 4: Beach day

Today, it’s beach time! We are headed to Reduit beach. Theo beach is also really cool and allows dogs! So bring some beers and some food and have a great day at the beach.

Day 5: Final day in Saint Lucia

Today we will chill at the hotel! There is a huge breakfast buffet and an awesome pool, plus the marina has lots of shops and restaurants with more western food options. If you have extra time, be sure to explore more beaches and partake in the local's favorite nightlife activity of karaoke where you can eat great food and new make friends.
