Things to do in Wyoming

Horseback riding with Grand Teton Views in Jackson Hole: Horseback riding in Jackson Hole offers an unforgettable way to experience the majestic beauty of the Gran Teton region. Whether you're a novice or an experienced rider, there are numerous guided trail rides that showcase the area’s stunning landscapes.

Best of Yellowstone full-day National Park tour from Bozeman: Yellowstone National Park is one of America’s great treasures. This full-day safari will show off the highlights of this incredible place: volcanic thermal features, giant waterfalls, diverse wildlife, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and Yellowstone Lake.

The Brinton Museum: The Brinton Museum in Big Horn, Wyoming, is a hidden gem where you can soak in Western and Native American art surrounded by stunning mountain views. I loved exploring the historic ranch house and modern galleries. It’s peaceful, inspiring, and full of stories that connect you to the spirit of the American West.

T.A. Moulton Barn: The T.A. Moulton barn is one of my favorite photo spots in Gran Teton—it’s iconic, peaceful, and set perfectly against the Tetons. Standing there, you really feel the history of the early homesteaders and the beauty that’s made it the most photographed barn in America.

Jackson Hole Aerial Tram: Riding the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram was unforgettable—soaring 4,000 feet up to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain with sweeping views of the Tetons. At the top, it felt like I was on top of the world.

Cheyenne Frontier Days: Cheyenne Frontier Days was such a thrill—rodeo action, live music, and that true wild West energy everywhere. It felt like stepping into a piece of cowboy history, and I had a blast doing it.

Places to eat & drink in Wyoming

Teton Thai in Teton Village (7342 Granite Loop Road, Teton Village, WY 83025): Teton Thai in Teton Village is a cozy, family-run spot that I absolutely loved. After a day on the slopes, their spicy curries and noodles hit the spot. The intimate setting and authentic flavors made it a memorable dining experience.

Nora’s Fish Creek Inn (5600 State Highway 22, Wilson, WY 83014): Nora’s Fish Creek Inn in Wilson, Wyoming, is a cozy log cabin eatery that’s been serving up hearty breakfast since 1982. Their famous banana bread French toast and huevos rancheros are local legends. It’s the kind of place where you feel right at home, surrounded by rustic charm and friendly faces.

Glorietta (242 Glenwood St., Jackson, WY 83001): Glorietta is a cozy Italian spot where I enjoyed handmade pasta and wood-fired dishes in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Their elk Bolognese and expertly crafted cocktails made for a memorable evening. It’s the kind of place that feels like a local favorite, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.

Bin22 (200 W. Broadway, Jackson, WY 83001): Bin22 is one of my favorite spots to unwind-tucked behind a wine shop, it offers cozy communal tables and a menu of Spanish- and Italian-style tapas. Sipping a glass of wine while sharing small plates like charred octopus or pastas bravas made for a perfect evening.

Café Genevieve (135 East Broadway, PO Box 3992, Jackson, WY 83001): Café Genevieve is a perfect spot for brunch set in a historic log cabin just off the Town Square, it offers cozy charm and delicious comfort food. Their pig candy (sweet and spicy bacon) is a must-try, and the Cajun benedict is a personal favorite. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a hearty meal in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Jackson Hole Winery (3255 W Village Dr, Teton Village, WY 83025): Jackson Hole Winery is a serene, family-owned gem nestled beside Spring Creek, offering stunning views of the Grand Tetons. I loved the intimate tasting experience, where each handcrafted wine reflects the passion and care of the Schroth family. Sipping their award-winning wines in such a picturesque setting made for an unforgettable moment.
