Advisor - Singapore: A Perfect Blend of Culture, Modernity and Sustainability – Your Ultimate Travel Guide
Curator’s statement

Singapore is a unique destination — a city, country and island all in one! It was the first Asian country I visited, and its rich history and impressive economic development left a lasting impression. Singapore beautifully blends diverse Asian cultures with a touch of British influence. It’s a place where sustainability plays a key role in hospitality and business, evident in its stunning modern architecture and lush greenery.

Last year, I had the opportunity to spend a week in Singapore as part of an academic immersion, and it was an unforgettable experience. Whether you plan to visit for 3–4 days or use it as a starting point for a more extended trip across Asia — perhaps to Vietnam, Japan or India — Singapore offers the perfect introduction to the region.

Need to know

Singapore is incredibly safe, clean and easy to explore, with many attractions within walking distance. I highly recommend downloading the Grab app, Singapore’s equivalent of Uber, for convenient and reliable transportation. The weather is warm and humid year-round, so don’t forget to pack essentials like sunglasses and a hat to stay comfortable. English is one of the official languages, so communication is seamless, making it easy to navigate and enjoy your time in this vibrant destination.
