Getting there
Harbor Island is accessible via North Eleuthera Airport (ELH), which receives flights from Nassau, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. From the airport, a short taxi ride takes you to the dock, where a quick water taxi ride (5-10 minutes) will bring you to Dunmore Town on Harbor Island.
Best time to visit
The best time to visit Harbor Island is between December and April when the weather is dry and temperatures are mild. This is also peak season, so book accommodations in advance. The summer months are hotter and more humid, but they offer fewer crowds and lower prices.
