Things to do in Moab, Utah

There are endless options for great adaptive mountain biking in Moab and it might take a while to find what works best for you. The trails described below are accessible for all abilities, are accessible for hand cycles and are some excellent options to get you started.
Klondike Bluff Area — The Beginner Loop is smooth, fast and flowy with minimal obstacles and is relatively flat.
Monitor-Merrimac — Great beginner slickrock that is smooth and fun. There are some small sandy sections.
Moab Brands — There is a ton of fun singletrack riding at this trail system. Most of it is flowy and smooth with a few rocks to negotiate. Lazy and EZ are nice starters and there are plenty of options to explore from there.
Slickrock Practice Loop — Maybe not the best for first timers, but definitely doable once you are feeling comfortable with your system. The Practice Loop is the same terrain as the regular trail, but only around two miles long compared to the 12-mile regular loop. Both trails are flowing waves of slickrock with a few good sized sand traps to negotiate and plenty of fun.
Jeep trails, Dirt Roads, and Gravel Grinding — There are miles of gravel and jeep roads to ride as well. Hurrah Pass, Sand Flats Road and Onion Creek are excellent choices to get a feel for the types of roads you can find in the Moab area.
