Marrakech is a city of contrasts—quiet riads hidden behind heavy doors, vibrant souks that never seem to slow down, refined dining just steps away from simple street stalls, centuries-old traditions meeting contemporary design. It’s a place people tend to react to strongly: you either feel instantly drawn in, or you decide one visit is enough. For me, the city left a lasting impression. Not in an obvious way, but in layers, the rhythm, the textures, the moments in between. I hope sharing my experiences gives you a sense of Marrakech beyond the clichés, and perhaps nudges you to experience it on your own terms one day. Below is the 5-day itinerary I’d recommend if you want to see the city through a more considered lens.

Ett Hem—meaning “a home” in Swedish—lives up to its name in the most authentic and understated way. Stockholm draws you in quietly: good design that serves a purpose, nature braided into daily life, and an easy hospitality that makes a travel advisor’s job a pleasure.

"Outstanding" is the word that might come close enough to describe Forestis. The level of attention to detail, the quality of service and everything around it made my experience truly extraordinary.

In February of 2025, I stayed at Hotel Providence in Paris. The customer service is outstanding at this property, from the proactive concierge to the reception and hotel manager. I would stay here again and highly recommend this boutique hotel for couples' and girls' trips.
