Curator’s statement
I spent many years living in Hawai'i, and one of my favorite weekend getaways was exploring the beautiful Island of Kaua'i. Landing in Lihue instantly transported me into a magical world where I was surrounded by flowers, mountains, lush greenery and endless adventures. I quickly understood why Kaua'i is known as “The Garden Isle”. As a photographer I wanted to write this guide to show you exactly where to go if you only have a short time to explore this unforgettable island!
