Spend an afternoon at Jazzhole Bookstore: Enjoy homemade cakes and herbal teas while browsing a diverse collection of novels, CDs, and vinyl from within Nigeria and beyond.
Enjoy live music at The New Afrika Shrine: The place to be for music and entertainment on Lagos mainland. Femi Kuti performs every Thursday and Sunday.

Day trips from Lagos, Nigeria
Epe Mangroves: Take a serene boat ride through the Epe mangroves. Located a two-hour drive from Lagos, you can take a tour of the local palm wine factory and watch how the famous adire cloth is made. Make sure to take a camera and comfortable shoes.
Badagry: Explore the the coastal town of Badagry, a former British colonial port during the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Visit one of the many memorial museums, explore the first missionary school and church in Nigeria and delve into the the art enclave where artisans display their crafts.
