Advisor - St. Barths: The Most Magical Place in the Caribbean
Curator’s statement

Saint Barth holds a truly special place in my life. I’ve been traveling there every year—sometimes twice a year—since 2015, before my twin daughters were born. Now it’s become a cherished tradition that my girls look forward to just as much as my husband and I do. The island has a kind of magic that’s hard to describe: a seamless blend of Caribbean calm, chic glamour, and vibrant party energy. It feels both luxurious and deeply familiar, and it’s woven into some of my happiest vacation memories.

Things to do in St. Barths

  • Rent a Moke and explore the island—it’s the best way to take in the scenery. I highly recommend stopping at a few hotels along the way. Grab a drink or a snack and wander around to get a feel for each property.

  • Have lunch at a beach club on St. Jean Beach (Gypsea, Nao, Nikki Beach, Pearl, La Guérite, or the Sand Bar at Eden Rock). After lunch, you can stroll along the beach to check out the other clubs or browse the boutiques on the street by Nikki Beach.

  • Spend some time shopping in Gustavia, where you’ll find all the high‑end favorites—Hermès, Dior, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and more.

  • Enjoy a sunset cocktail at Pablo, Bar des Prés, or Bonito for incredible views.

  • End the day with a memorable dinner—either a lively party atmosphere at Bagatelle or La Petite Plage, or a romantic garden setting at Tamarin.

Places to eat & drink in St. Barths

  • Nao Beach Club: Situated on St. Jean Beach, Nao Beach is known for its energetic party vibe and champagne shows during the late lunch seating. Beach chairs are available, and reservations are required.

  • Nikki Beach Club: Also on St. Jean Beach, Nikki Beach is famous for its lively party atmosphere and champagne shows during both early and late lunch seatings. Sundays are the biggest party day, with Saturdays close behind. The later seating is typically more festive, while some prefer the earlier seating followed by renting loungers on the beach. (Note: Loungers cannot be confirmed until the day of.)

  • Shellona Beach Club: Located near Gustavia Harbor, Shellona is a stunning, picturesque beach club nestled between two mountains, with sand made entirely of shells. It has a trendy, stylish vibe without being a party scene. Loungers are available for rent on the beach.

  • La Petite Plage (Dinner): A chic, toes‑in‑the‑sand restaurant on the Gustavia harbor offering Mediterranean cuisine and a lively, stylish atmosphere that becomes more festive as the night goes on.

  • Le Ti (Dinner): An iconic dinner‑party destination known for its cabaret‑style shows, high‑energy ambiance, and late‑night dancing in a glamorous, anything‑goes setting.

  • Tamarin (Dinner): A romantic, garden‑style restaurant set among lush tropical greenery, offering a serene atmosphere, beautiful lighting, and refined French‑Caribbean cuisine.

Need to know

  • The easiest way to arrive on the island is through San Juan Airport via Tradewind Air. It’s often a bit more expensive than flying through SXM, but you’ll clear customs directly in Saint Barth, and the chances of delays are significantly lower.

  • Avoid the ferry if possible—it’s a rough ride, you’ll likely get wet, and cancellations are common.

  • Taxis are limited on the island, so planning transportation in advance is essential.

  • Dress is always upscale, chic, and trendy. Saint Barth is a true millionaire’s playground, and the style is impeccable—it’s not the typical laid‑back Caribbean vibe.

  • Hotels are spread throughout the island, each offering a different experience. Booking with an advisor is ideal so you can share the type of vacation you’re looking for and ensure you’re matched with the perfect property.
