Things to do in Jerome, AZ
Jerome State Historic Park: If you're a history buff, you'll want to pay a visit to this park's main attraction, the Douglas Mansion.
Wine Tasting: If you take a stroll down main street, you'll see numerous wine tasting rooms featuring local wines from the Jerome and Verde Valley area. My current fave: Passion Cellars.
Shopping: Be sure to check out the locally owned shops for unique finds and gifts. From Kaleidoscopes to candy, you're bound to find something that catches your eye!
Liberty Theater and Gifts: This old school movie theater turned museum and shop is a must see. You can sit in the original theater portion (built in the early 1900's) and take in a film about Jerome. After, you can exit through the back to find a museum with film memorabilia throughout the decades.
Pandora's Box Ghost Adventure: Over the years, Jerome has become one of the go to spots for lovers of the paranormal. This two hour guided tour to the most haunted places in town comes complete with EMF readers for each participant. Be sure to book ahead and good luck!
Places to eat & drink in Jerome, AZ
Asylum Restaurant: Located within the National historic landmark Jerome Grand Hotel, this American fine dining establishment is a definite must-try, especially if you're visiting around Halloween!
The Clinkscale: This trendy hotel and restaurant is conveniently located on the main stretch of shops. I definitely recommend stopping here for a more upscale experience.
Bobby D's BBQ: Casual dining with an amazing BBQ menu. The pulled pork sandwich is to die for!
The Mine Cafe: This adorable coffee shop/restaurant is one of my favorites for breakfast. I love the aesthetic and the food without a doubt lives up to it!
