Nestled in the heel of Italy's boot, Puglia feels like what one might expect of Italy. You will find grandmas making homemade pasta in Bari, old men sitting for hours in the piazza, fisherman by the sea, delicious food, warm sun and friendly people. Here, the rhythm of life slows after lunch and you are forced to slow down and enjoy life.

Jaipur is one of those rare cities that grabs you from the moment you arrive—a riot of color, craft, and creativity layered over centuries of royal history. It’s where artisans still carve, print, hammer, glaze, and stitch the old-school way, and you can step right into their world. Every visit feels like opening a jewel box: textiles, palaces, markets, and that soft light that makes everything glow. It’s a destination that feeds anyone who loves design, culture, and beauty.

Madeira is one of those special places that really surprises you—dramatic cliffs, lush mountains, a culture that feels special and very local, and also incredibly welcoming. It’s an easy place to fall into a rhythm: hikes in the morning, long lunches of fresh bread and seafood, sunsets over the Atlantic, and always a glass of Madeira wine to finish. What stands out most is the contrast—the wild north vs. the developed city and hotels in Funchal, the tiny fishing villages, and the feeling that you’re very far away—in the best possible way.

For years, Paris was a place I visited twice a year for fashion week, going between runway shows, showroom appointments and late-night dinners. It was fast, fabulous and filled with so many cool experiences. But nothing prepared me for the magic of rediscovering the city through my daughter’s eyes. Wandering around the city together, showing her the secret corners I’ve loved for years and watching her fall in love with the city in her own way — it’s been a whole new kind of Parisian experience.

Paris is made for mother-daughter trips. Mornings start with pastries and people watching, and afternoons are for shopping and museum-hopping. Whether you're digging through vintage racks in the Marais, getting lost in the gardens of Versailles or just strolling along the Seine, Paris has a way of making every moment feel special. It’s the perfect place to explore, indulge and just be together.

Argentina is a destination that seduces every sense. From the bustling streets of Buenos Aires, where tango and fútbol are part of the DNA, to the serene beauty of Patagonia’s lakes and glaciers, and the world-renowned vineyards of Mendoza — it’s a place that offers diversity and charm at every turn. Whether you're hiking in the Andes, sipping Malbec in a vineyard or learning the secrets of an Argentine asado, this country will capture your heart.

Just back from Panama, where relaxation meets adventure! From strolling through Panama City's charming Old Town, with its colonial architecture and mouthwatering eateries, to uncovering the hidden gem of Isla Palenque, a true luxury resort on a private island.

Holbox is a small eco-friendly island with no cars and a super relaxed vibe. The Mexican island just two hours north of Cancun is a true paradise with calm, azure waters, beautiful wooden villas, fresh seafood and a laid back atmosphere that reminded me of Madonna’s hit La Isla Bonita. In fact, the wifi on the island is so bad that there isn’t much more to do than lay back and take it all in. It is also an island of natural wonders including pink flamingos and nighttime bioluminescence. 

Florence is a culturally rich city with an array of famous attractions reeling in thousands of tourists each year. Oltrarno, the other side of the Arno, is less touristy and full of artisan shops and is the locals' side of Florence. This is by far my favorite neighborhood and a perfect place to explore, especially if you are a repeat visitor and want to go deeper.

I wanted to take my son on a mother/son trip to a place that would blow his mind. Iceland is so special, strange and exciting all at once. Geysers, volcanos, waterfalls, geothermal swimming pools and the summer sun that never sets make for a memorable trip.

If Christmas holds a special place in your heart, then Edinburgh's Christmas Market is an absolute must-visit. Here, you'll step into a realm where tradition seamlessly blends with enchantment. As you wander through the bustling markets, you'll be greeted by twinkling lights and the irresistible aroma of festive treats. It's a gathering place for both locals and visitors, all united in celebrating the season's joys. From the majestic Castle of Light to the dynamic Torchlight Procession, each moment promises to evoke a sense of wonder and awe, leaving you captivated by the enchanting atmosphere.

Marfa is a unique town seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It is a hike to get to, but so worth the journey for the natural beauty of the Chihuahuan desert. Not to mention the art, food and shopping too. And let’s be honest, everyone wants a picture in front of the Prada Marfa store – which isn’t an actual store but an art installation. Regardless of the reason, Marfa is an excellent destination for the traveler looking to get off-the-beaten-path.

Costa Rica is such a special place. There is really something for everyone. For my 11-year old it was the monkeys, for my teen it was the beach and for me and my husband it was the easy laid back "pura vida" vibes. Costa Rica feels adventurous, but not scary. It is paradise for nature-lovers featuring volcanos, rainforests and exotic wildlife are everywhere. It is one of those places where you can come many times and have completely different experiences.

Antigua, Guatemala is an under-the-radar destination that effortlessly transports you back in time. With its charming colonial town vibe, cobblestone streets, and vividly painted buildings, every step feels like a stroll through the 1800s. The culinary scene is very interesting, from traditional dishes to diverse international fare like Italian and Korean. But the icing on the cake is the weather – Antigua boasts an eternal spring-like climate that is amazing. Antigua Guatemala is a time capsule of beauty, flavors and eternal spring, waiting to enchant every traveler who sets foot on its cobblestone streets.

Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, is not only stunningly beautiful but really fun to explore. One beach is more hidden and interesting than the next, but if you prefer our beach time with a large dose of food and culture this is a perfect place to visit.

Milan holds a special place in my heart, a city I’ve come to know well through years of attending runway shows during Milan Fashion Week. Twice a year, I would immerse myself in the city’s electric energy, where fashion, art and culture converge. Beyond the glamor of the catwalks, Milan revealed its timeless beauty to me—its rich history, architectural marvels and, of course, its impeccable sense of style. This itinerary is a reflection of those experiences, offering a journey through the chic city that is Milan.
