Prada in Marfa Texas
Curator’s statement

Marfa is a unique town seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It is a hike to get to, but so worth the journey for the natural beauty of the Chihuahuan desert. Not to mention the art, food and shopping too. And let’s be honest, everyone wants a picture in front of the Prada Marfa store – which isn’t an actual store but an art installation. Regardless of the reason, Marfa is an excellent destination for the traveler looking to get off-the-beaten-path.

A note from Wendy

Try to visit on the weekend as Marfa is on its own time schedule and a lot of places are closed mid-week.
