Savannah had been on my list for ages, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a girls' getaway. I got married just outside of Cork, so this corner of Ireland holds a special place in my heart. It’s where dramatic coastlines meet cozy pubs, and every twist in the road feels like a new discovery. Dingle is one of the most charming towns I’ve ever visited—it’s colorful, walkable, and full of character. I still dream about the views along Slea Head Drive and the fresh-from-the-farm ice cream. Add in the timeless beauty of the Ring of Kerry and some lesser-known gems like Ballycotton and Ballymaloe, and you’ve got a trip that balances bucket-list sights with authentic, off-the-beaten-path moments.

I read every day, and I’ve been chasing stories across time zones and centuries for as long as I can remember. From the moment I first opened Harry Potter and Matilda, to my moody teenage obsession with Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre, and later my love for every Tudor novel I could get my hands on, books have shaped how I see the world. I also studied art history in college, and I could spend years wandering the British Museum without ever getting bored. London is my happy place for all things literary and artistic, and this five-day itinerary is designed for kindred spirits who love a good story, a cozy bookshop, and a beautifully framed painting.

Cape Town is one of the most special places I’ve ever been. It’s an unforgettable mix of vibrant city energy, dramatic coastline, serene wine valleys, and towering mountains. It reminds me of San Francisco’s edge-of-the-world views, the whitewashed charm of Greece, and the wine-soaked beauty of Napa, yet it’s entirely its own. What sets it apart most, though, are the people. South Africans are warm, funny, effortlessly cool, and always down to help you find the best meal, join a beach bonfire, or point you toward the weekend “jol.” I go back to South Africa again and again because the long flight is worth it for the food, the wine, the views, and the sense that there’s always something new to discover. This itinerary brings together my favorite pieces of Cape Town: bold flavors, golden beaches, world-class wine, and a local culture that makes you feel completely at home.

Virgin Gorda is where you go when you want the Caribbean’s beauty without the crowds. Known for its dramatic granite boulders, hidden beaches, and crystal-clear waters, this island invites you to slow down and soak up its natural wonders. It’s also where I first discovered my love of scuba diving—exploring its vibrant reefs and historic wrecks was an unforgettable experience that opened up a whole new world beneath the surface. Virgin Gorda is the perfect escape for travelers seeking laid-back luxury and authentic charm.

I’ll always come back to Aspen because it’s my home, but also because it’s truly spectacular. Unlike some ski towns, Aspen has a real heart and soul. The community is what makes it special, with an incredible mix of authenticity, creativity, and warmth. People may come for the winter, but they stay for the summer—when Aspen’s magic really shines. The town comes alive with endless sunshine, blooming wildflowers, patio dining with mountain views, and more ways to explore than just skiing. From hiking and biking to live music and local markets, summer is when Aspen’s beauty and energy are at their peak.

Scotland holds a truly magical place in my heart—it’s where I celebrated my own honeymoon, wandering castle ruins, savoring cozy dinners by candlelight, and exploring wild, breathtaking landscapes with my new husband. From the misty peaks of the Highlands to the historic charm of Edinburgh’s cobbled streets, this itinerary is designed for couples who crave both romance and adventure. We loved every minute of our exploration of Scotland and hope all newlyweds find it as wonderful as we did.
