Day 1: Jones Street & Hop-On-Hop-Off Trolley Tour

Jones Street
Start your Savannah adventure with a stroll down Jones Street. The oak-lined streets and beautiful architecture make it a great introduction to the city. After checking in, head to The Bardo Hotel for lunch. It’s an upscale spot offering contemporary Southern cuisine in a refined atmosphere. The hibiscus mocktail was so yummy, and the hamburger was one of the best I’ve had.
Afterward, hop on the Hop-On-Hop-Off Trolley Tour to get a feel for the city. The trolley drivers were lively and full of great historical facts, making it the perfect way to start your trip. The Juliette Gordon Low House is a standout stop; her story is truly inspiring. I really enjoyed the audio tour, and it gave me a great sense of Savannah’s history.
For dinner, head to Collins Quarter, where the service is incredible, and the food is exceptional. The pasta was a favorite, and the cozy, stylish atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to settle into the evening. Finish your first night with a ghost tour from Afterlife Tours. Run by paranormal investigators, it’s both spooky and fun and a unique way to explore Savannah's haunted side with the girls.
Day 2: Telfair Museums & local cuisine

Broughton Street
Start with brunch at Husk Savannah. The changing seasonal menu ensures that everything is fresh and delicious. The Southern-inspired breakfast dishes are perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring.
Afterward, head to the Telfair Museums to dive into Savannah's art scene. The collections were impressive, and afterward, we enjoyed some retail therapy on Broughton Street, which has a fantastic selection of boutiques and art galleries.
For dinner, The Grey offers an incredible experience in a beautifully restored 1938 Greyhound bus terminal. The decor is stunning, and the Southern flavors with a modern twist are unforgettable. Finish the evening at Top Deck, a rooftop bar with great rosé specials and scenic views of the city. It’s the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of Savannah’s skyline.
Day 3: Bonaventure Cemetery & Savannah Bee Company

Bonaventure Cemetery
Spend the morning at Bonaventure Cemetery, which is as beautiful as it is peaceful. The Spanish moss-covered trees and quiet atmosphere make it a place of reflection. For lunch, The Cotton Exchange Tavern on River Street is a great choice. It’s casual yet charming, offering Southern dishes like shrimp and grits, po'boys, and seafood, all with a beautiful riverside view.
In the afternoon, head over to the Savannah Bee Company for honey and mead tastings. It was my friend's first time trying mead, and the staff made the whole experience so fun. Savannah loves its honey, so it’s worth stopping by. We even picked up a cute bee ornament as a souvenir! Afterward, take some time to shop and explore the local shops along River Street.
For dinner, Vic’s on the River offers delicious seafood with views of the river. The catfish and grits were a standout. End the night with a fun stop at Wet Willie’s for a daiquiri. It’s a great way to walk along the river with a drink and unwind after the day’s adventures.
Day 4: Forsyth Park & National Museum of African American History and Culture

Forsyth Park
Take a peaceful morning stroll through Forsyth Park. The iconic fountain, oak trees, and beautiful gardens create the perfect atmosphere to start the day. For lunch, Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room is a classic. The fried chicken, cornbread, and collard greens were absolutely delicious, and the communal dining experience made it feel even more special.
In the afternoon, visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The exhibits provide an important look at Savannah’s role in the Civil Rights Movement, and it’s an insightful stop that adds depth to your understanding of the city’s history. For dinner, Local 11ten offers modern farm-to-table dishes with a Southern twist. The relaxed yet refined atmosphere is the perfect place for a memorable meal.
Cap off your evening at Electric Moon, a rooftop bar with drinks and live music. The vibrant atmosphere and beautiful views make it a great place to enjoy the city, especially after a full day of exploring.
Day 5: Owens-Thomas House & river cruise

Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar
Start your last day in Savannah with a coffee at The Coffee Fox. Their daily special drink was fantastic, and it’s the perfect spot to grab a light bite before heading out. Afterward, visit the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters. This was by far the best museum we visited. The exhibits dive into the history of enslaved people in Savannah, and the foundation has done incredible work to uncover their stories. It’s an essential stop for anyone wanting to learn about the city’s past.
For lunch, Treylor Park is a great choice. The fried chicken tacos were absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was quirky and fun. In the afternoon, take a Savannah Riverboat Cruise to enjoy the stunning views of the city from the water. The sunset cruise was a beautiful way to wrap up the trip.
For your final evening, head to Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar for cocktails and live music. The Kiss of the Rose cocktail was the perfect way to end our time in Savannah, with breathtaking views and a vibrant atmosphere to match.
