Our Story
I’m a travel experience designer obsessed with journeys that shift your perspective—immersive adventures, wildlife encounters, and expeditions that go far beyond the typical itinerary. I handle every detail so you can simply show up and live the story.
Travel Style
My travel philosophy is simple: go deeper. I’m drawn to experiences that connect you to a place on a real level, its wildlife, its people, its rhythms. I’ve spent decades planning my own adventures around the world, and I bring that same obsessive attention to detail and curiosity to every trip I design for clients. I love the logistics puzzle, but what I’m really crafting is the feeling you’ll carry home long after the trip ends. If you’re the kind of traveler who wants more than a vacation, who wants a story, I’d love to plan your next one.

travel by cruise

Working with Joycelyn was one of the best decisions we made for our first cruise. As first-time cruisers traveling as a family of five plus grandparents (a group of seven), we had a lot to learn, and Joycelyn made the entire planning process seamless and stress-free.
She took the time to educate us on all the nuances of cruising—things I never would have known if I had booked the trip myself. From explaining the cruise process to sharing helpful tips on what to pack and how to make the experience as smooth as possible, she covered every detail. She also sent timely reminders about important milestones, such as booking excursions, completing online check-in, and other planning tasks, so nothing was overlooked.
What impressed me most was how thoughtfully she planned every step of our journey. She coordinated all of our transportation—from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the cruise port—for our group of seven and all of our luggage. Knowing those logistics were taken care of gave us tremendous peace of mind.
When we experienced a problem with one of the car transfer services, Joycelyn immediately stepped in. She contacted the transfer company on our behalf, advocated for us, and successfully secured a full refund due to the company's unsatisfactory service. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experience, even after the trip had already begun.
Throughout our vacation, Joycelyn continued to check in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. That level of care, professionalism, and dedication is rare.
I highly recommend Joycelyn to anyone planning a vacation, especially first-time cruisers. Her expertise, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better travel advisor, and we look forward to working with her again for our future travels.

Joycelyn did an outstanding job planning the Rome portion of our vacation as well as the cruise. Traveling with a group of seven can be challenging, but she found the perfect hotel accommodations for our family. She was able to book two comfortable rooms that fit our budget while also securing a fantastic central location within walking distance of many of Rome's most famous attractions, as well as great shopping and restaurants.
Her recommendations didn't stop with the hotel. Joycelyn also helped us choose reliable, family-friendly tour companies that made our visit to Rome both fun and memorable. The Colosseum tour she recommended was excellent—well organized, engaging, and a wonderful way to experience such an incredible historic site. Her recommendations helped us make the most of our limited time in the city without feeling overwhelmed.
What I appreciated most was that every recommendation was carefully thought out with our family's needs in mind. From the hotel's location to the quality of the tours, everything exceeded our expectations and made our trip much more enjoyable.
If you're looking for a travel advisor who is knowledgeable, attentive, and truly committed to creating the best possible travel experience, I highly recommend Joycelyn. Her expertise and thoughtful planning made our time in Rome unforgettable, and we will absolutely work with her again for future trips.

travel to Santorini

Booking with Joycelyn for our Santorini visit was a pleasure, from beginning to end. She took our circumstances (family of four) and preferences into account, and her suggestions were spot-on. She made great restaurant recommendations in the area, and coordinated reservations and transfers. She is highly organized and attentive to details, so everything was seamless. We knew exactly what to expect at each location and the communication was very good throughout. Thanks to Joycelyn, I did not have to think about logistics at all on this vacation, which is precisely what I wanted!

Joycelyn was a huge help in planning my trip. I had so many questions since I've never taken a cruise before and I'm pretty sure I asked the same questions several times, and Joycelyn promptly and patiently answered me each time. She also offered suggestions that would help me make my trip better, including going a day early to Anchorage in case of flight delays. She helped set expectations on what tours were or weren't available since I was booking so early in the season.
Joycelyn kept me organized on what I should do 60 days, 30 days, and 2 weeks before the trip, and offered helpful packing tips to prepare for the unpredictable Alaska weather.
Joycelyn also helped address the issues I had in Denali when HA didn't honor the dinner theater tickets that were part of my package and kept contacting them until I received on-board credit for the mix-up.
Joycelyn is a trusted advisor that I plan to work with again in the future.

A Guide to Argentine Patagonia: Fitz Roy, Glaciers & the Cape Horn Crossing
Patagonia is one of the few places left that still feels genuinely at the edge of the map. What impresses me is the range of it in a single trip—the late-night, European rhythm of Buenos Aires, the granite spires above El Chaltén, and then the silence of the fjords south of the Strait of Magellan, where you reach glaciers and channels no road will ever take you. It's a journey that rewards both the avid hiker and the traveler who simply wants to stand on deck and watch ice calve into the sea.

Winter Magic in Crested Butte: Your Guide to Colorado’s Coolest Mountain Town
Crested Butte is one of my favorite ski towns in Colorado, and my family makes the trip there every year. It takes a bit more effort to get to from the Denver area, but the drive itself is a lovely, easy half-day road trip that winds through charming small towns along the way. This historic mining town, with its colorful Victorian buildings and rich past, is arguably the last authentic ski town in Colorado. Off the mountain, the town itself is a major part of the experience—full of character, friendly locals, and a surprising number of excellent restaurants that rival those in much larger destinations.

Savor the Vine: A Guide to Three Wineries in Chile’s Colchagua Valley
Need a break from Santiago’s nonstop buzz? Just hop in the car, and in about two hours, you’ll find yourself in the heart of Chilean wine country: the Colchagua Valley. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, the scenery stuns, and the wine flows (generously). One of the best parts? Most vineyards here let you wander through the vines at your own pace—no fences, no fuss. Colchagua is all about laid-back vibes, friendly faces, and bold reds like Carménère and Syrah, or crisp rosés and bright Sauvignon Blancs if those are what you fancy. Besides the wines, amazing food can also be found at some of these wineries!
