My Story
Hi! I’m Jolene—I plan thoughtfully crafted journeys for those with great taste who want to travel well.
Travel Style
I specialize in crafting bespoke itineraries to some of the world’s most idyllic destinations. Guided by a love of meaningful travel and a discerning eye for design-forward stays, I curate elevated journeys and hotel experiences that blend style, culture, and authenticity. For me, the best trips strike a perfect balance—a little adventure, a dose of relaxation, a connection to local culture, and a bit of luxury. I’ve always believed a journey begins the moment you check into an exceptional hotel—one with a strong sense of place, that offers genuine hospitality, immerses you in the local experience, and leaves you feeling inspired. When I travel, I start my mornings with a walk to a great coffee shop or bakery. I love to wander and find one-of-a-kind treasures for my home, and always make time for a few must-sees. I’m drawn to restaurants that showcase creativity and local ingredients… always seek out excellent wine lists and inventive cocktails wherever I go. From long weekend escapes to six-week honeymoons, I’ve planned it all—and I’d love to help you design an unforgettable trip of your own!

I had a wonderful first experience working with Jolene to plan a trip for my mom and I to Ranthambore National Park. From taking the time ahead of time to understand what we were looking for, to making sure we were taken care of on the ground, and communicating after the trip, I can't thank her enough. We were so happy with the on the ground coordination with Travel Scope, our accommodations at Khem Villas and especially the Safari, where we had some incredible bengal tiger sightings. I would definitely work with Jolene again for future travel.

Jolene is extremely responsive and especially timely with her responses. She offers great suggestions and recommendations and is always in tune with what kind of vibe I'm looking for. 10/10 reliability.

Jolene was the reason why our (last minute!) trip to Mexico was one of the best we've ever taken! She planned everything perfectly for us and made sure that all the logistics (transfers, bookings, special requests at hotels etc.) were in place before our trip started. During the trip we didn't have to worry about anything and just followed the daily itinerary which was tailored to our interests. We prefer not to have too many appointments or sightseeing on holidays and Jolene suggested daily walking routes with shops, cafes, galleries and other cultural highlights. It was perfect to soak up the vibe of the city and to get to know the neighbourhoods we were interested it. In addition, she booked the best restaurants and we loved all her choices. I received restaurant recommendations from friends and saw on our itinerary that Jolene had already booked the same places long ago! We were super happy with Jolene's support, also on WhatsApp during the trip, and can't wait to plan our next trip with her!

From our first meeting, I knew that Jolene understood our objectives and travel style. She is extremely well traveled herself and takes pride in making tailored recommendations for your specific needs and budget. She went above and beyond to make sure that we accomplished all of our goals for the trip. She made excellent restaurant recommendations as well as shopping itineraries, and tour bookings. Everything that Jolene planned for us was a 10/10. During our trip, she was checking in and making sure that everything went off without a hitch. I felt confident that if we had any issues, she would handle it expeditiously. I can’t wait to work with her in again the future!!!

The Jewel of Lake Pichola: Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur
After eloping in India, my husband and I wanted somewhere special to soak it all in — and honestly, I don’t think we could have picked a more magical place than Taj Lake Palace, a destination in and of itself.

Il Pellicano: Classic Italian Chic on Tuscany’s Argentario Coast
I recently spent three weeks on an Italian road trip that spanned from the Dolomites to Umbria and everything in between. While in Tuscany, I planned a two-night stay at Il Pellicano — one of three hotels under the ISSIMO umbrella of hotels. I had previously stayed at another property of theirs, Mezzatorre — which was gorgeous. So I was eager to experience their world-famous and longest-standing hotel of the bunch.

Le Sirenuse: The Most Iconic Hotel on Positano’s Coast
There are luxury hotels, and then there’s Le Sirenuse — the only hotel that has ever earned a flawless 5/5 stars from me. Every single thing about my stay here was incredible. The service, the decor, the insane views from every window and balcony — I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about the legendary Le Sirenuse.

Gran Hotel Son Net: Pure Relaxation in Mallorca
I visited Gran Hotel Son Net in June during the 6-week-long honeymoon I planned for us. It had been high on my bucket list and he had not been to Mallorca before! We spent a few days beach-hopping, and ended our time there with the most special, peaceful stay in the Tramuntana mountains.

An Andalusian Oasis Reimagined: Marbella Club Hotel, Spain
I keep a hotel bucket list. More often than not, a well-designed property with a strong sense of place, is the motivator behind my visits to certain areas. And Marbella Club is no exception. I am a huge fan of Marie-Caroline Willms’ bold and spirited interiors. After following her renovations of this hotel closely, I knew I had to move it to the top of my wish list. I spent three amazing nights at this property in June, so now I can give it a proper review!

There’s something truly magical about stepping onto the Belmond Mount Nelson grounds. South Africa: A Soulful, Health-Focused Stay at Sterrekopje Farm
Hidden in the heart of South Africa’s Cape Winelands, Sterrekopje Farm is not just a retreat — it’s a place where time slows. My stay here was not only a getaway but a restorative experience that blended ritual, nature and intentional design.

Villa Palladio Jaipur: A Dreamlike Retreat in the Aravali Hills
This past year I had the honor of staying (& getting married) at the incredible crimson and cream palace that is Villa Palladio. As a lover of maximalist interior design, I greatly admire Marie-Anne Oujedans, whose imagination is unlike anyone else. Together with Barbara Miolini, the duo have brought to life four stunning properties in Jaipur: Café Palladio, Bar Palladio, Polo Palladio and Villa Palladio. All exude a harmonious blend of Italian elegance and Indian opulence. I kept a close watch on the property as it was being finished. When my husband and I decided to elope, I knew it would be the most incredible place to do just that! We were lucky enough to have the country estate to ourselves for two full days there to take it all in. Here is a bit about this special place and our unforgettable stay.

Egypt: A Nile Cruise + 3 Not-To-Miss Activities
Today’s Egypt is a site to behold. It boasts seven UNESCO World Heritage sites, endless jaw-dropping historical landmarks, and the attention to detail exhibited throughout the country is incredible. I recently returned from a multi-week journey through Egypt where I traveled through Cairo, Luxor, El Gouna, Aswan and my favorite of all — six days spent sailing the Nile River through rural Egypt! Here are some highlights from the trip of a lifetime.

Sustainable Red Sea Escape at La Maison Bleue in El Gouna, Egypt
I recently spent two weeks in Egypt, a country I had been dying to visit for many years! I started the trip in Cairo and slowly worked my way down the country, ending my trip on a high note with a weekend stay in the coastal city of El Gouna. My two-night stay at La Maison Bleue was nothing short of magic. This blue-washed luxury guesthouse was idyllic, tranquil and romantic — I cannot wait to return!

A Design Lover's Guide to Jaipur
It had always been such a dream of mine to visit India. When my (now) husband and I began planning our elopement, I knew it would make the most special and inspiring destination for our big day (and the trip of a lifetime)! As someone who is curious and creative, I love traveling to countries with a rich culture, impressive architecture and plenty of crafts — none of which there is a shortage of in Jaipur. My penchant for finding unique, design-forward stays and experiences led me to a variety of gorgeous properties that I had the pleasure of seeing during our time there. I now curate unique itineraries to India with places like these woven in along the way. Below are some of my favorite finds in the bustling city for those with great taste!
