Curator’s statement
My family is originally from El Salvador and the destination has changed tremendously. I believe its a country that is truly a magical escape and with so many people starting to venture to Central America I want to highlight the beauty of El Salvador. Lets not forget that the Miss Universe pageant will be held here for the first time ever.

Mizata by Antiresort is a true beach escape on the most popular coast of El Salvador called, La Libertad. When you arrive at San Salvador airport and try directly out of the airport it will be one of the first signs you will see heading towards the northwest of the country.
The beach escape here is a true oasis where the bunks are designed in a jungle background with a ton of green scenery and beach views that go for miles. You will see surfboards everywhere here as the country is known for having some of the best waves in the world. You will be able to rent these at the location along with additional activities; sunrise yoga, horseback riding, and hiking to the volcanos of El Salvador.
If you want to experience a beautiful escape and still be a nomad there is no better place as its also attached to the Nawi House (a nomad retreat) that offers food/drinks at all hours and provides concierge service throughout the country. When everyone starts heading to Tulum you will be heading to your own escape - Mizata.
Mizata is a beautiful retreat and they offer to pick up (old school jeep) to take you from/to the airport. The reason its called an anti resort is that there are endless activities that they offer for outdoor individuals. There is also a serenity feeling being right on the beach and they even have lifted bungalows so you get the pure sunrise/sunset from an elevated view.
