The resort boasts over two miles of pristine white sand beach, where I like to spend most of my time! Whether it was a leisurely morning stroll, shell-collecting, or simply basking in the sun, the beach offered a sanctuary of relaxation.
For adventure enthusiasts, the resort provides numerous opportunities. From exploring the calm waters of the Gulf with kayaking and paddleboarding, to guided shelling tours, which are both educational and rewarding.
Captiva Island is renowned for its abundant wildlife. You will have the opportunity to have close encounters with manatees, dolphins, and a variety of bird species, making it a nature lover's dream come true.
The resort's golf course and tennis facilities are top-notch. Enjoy a couple of rounds of golf and a few games of tennis amidst the lush tropical surroundings.
Another common activity in Captiva is getting around on Golf Carts! There are many places to rent one for your stay and is an easy mode of transport to go for dinner, local shopping etc.
The culinary experiences at South Seas Resort are wonderful. Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille and Harbourside Bar & Grill are favorites, offering an array of delicious dishes, from seafood to Caribbean-inspired fare.
One thing we particularly love are the stunning sunsets. There's nothing better than watching the sun dip below the horizon while strolling along the beach. After dark, enjoy some stargazing, which is truly beautiful.
