  • Old Town (Lipscani District): Bucharest’s historic center is filled with cobblestone streets, lively restaurants, cocktail bars, and nightlife. It’s the perfect place to wander, explore historic buildings, and experience the city’s vibrant atmosphere after dark.

  • Therme Bucharest: One of the most unique experiences near the city, Therme is a massive thermal spa complex located about 30 minutes outside Bucharest. The complex features tropical pools, saunas, swim-up bars, and an indoor/outdoor water park. A full day pass costs around $40, making it one of the best wellness experiences in Europe for the price.

  • Calea Victoriei: One of Bucharest’s most beautiful historic boulevards lined with grand buildings, museums, cafés, and luxury hotels. It’s a perfect place for strolling and soaking in the city’s elegant architecture.

  • Palace of the Parliament: One of the largest buildings in the world and one of Bucharest’s most fascinating landmarks. A guided tour reveals the scale and history of this monumental structure.
