Things to do in Morocco

Day 1: Experience the wonders of Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech! As you arrive at the airport, you'll be greeted by our friendly driver, who will be holding a sign with your name on it. From there, you'll be taken to your Riad or hotel to check in and get settled.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you may explore the ancient city of Marrakech and its fascinating Medina. This bustling area is filled with winding streets, vibrant markets and ancient landmarks, making it the perfect place to begin your journey in Morocco.
So start your adventure off right with a walk through the beautiful and historic city of Marrakech. We're excited to see all that you'll discover on your journey through this amazing country.
Day 2: Exploring the heart of Marrakech with a local guide
Today is the day to truly dive into the beauty and culture of Marrakech! After breakfast, you'll meet your local guide at your accommodation and set off on a half-day tour of the city.
As you explore the winding streets of the Medina, you'll be treated to the sights, sounds and smells of this vibrant city. Your guide will take you to the bustling souks, where you can browse the colorful stalls and haggle for souvenirs. You'll also visit some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Ben Youssef Madrassa, the world-famous Jemaa El Fna square and the stunning Koutoubia Mosque.
After a tasty lunch, your driver will pick you up and take you to the new city of Marrakech. Visit the Majorelle garden, a beautiful oasis designed by Yves Saint-Laurent. Here you can take a leisurely stroll and marvel at the stunning plants and flowers.

Day 3: Discovering Morocco: A journey from Marrakech to Dades Valley
Experience the beauty of Morocco's natural and cultural wonders on this epic journey from Marrakech to Dades Valley. Our first stop will be the stunning Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has served as the backdrop for numerous Hollywood movies. We will then continue to the bustling city of Ouarzazate for lunch before making our way to the stunning oasis of Skoura. Here, we will visit the well-preserved Kasbah Amridil before continuing to Kalaa Mgrouna through the Valley of the Roses. Finally, we will arrive at our luxurious boutique guest house nestled in the picturesque Dades Valley, where we will spend the night. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty and history of Morocco.
Day 4: From 1001 Kasbahs to the Sahara Desert
Today's journey through Morocco's stunning landscapes begins with a drive along the road of 1001 Kasbahs. You'll be treated to breathtaking views of fortified villages and ancient caravan roads as we make our way to Tinghir oasis. Once we arrive in Tinghir, we'll take a leisurely walk through the beautiful oasis. Observe the locals as they go about their daily lives, farming and herding their cattle. The highlight of the day is a visit to the spectacular Todgha Gorges, where you can take in the breathtaking views and have lunch at a local café. After lunch, we'll continue to Rissani, the holiest town in Morocco and the birthplace of the ruling Alaouite dynasty. Rissani is also famous as the starting point of the ancient caravan routes that crossed the Sahara desert to Tombouctou. In the afternoon, we'll cross rocky terrain on our way to Merzouga, where a camel caravan will be waiting to take us on a sunset ride over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After returning to our Sahara desert camp, we'll enjoy dinner under the stars while being entertained by our local nomad hosts.
Day 5: Scenic Drive to Fes- Stops in Errachidia, Midelt and the Middle Atlas Mountains
After a stunning sunrise camel trek over the Erg Chebbi dunes, it's time for breakfast and a shower (luxury camp upgrade includes in-tent showers and breakfast). Meet your driver and guide for a scenic drive to Fes, passing through the Ziz Valley and the capital of the Tafilalt region, Errachidia. Lunch at leisure in Midelt before continuing through the beautiful Cedar Forests and Berber towns of Imouzzar and Ifran (known for their ski resorts) in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Keep an eye out for Barbary apes along the way for a chance to snap some pictures.
Day 6: Discover the rich culture and history of Fez
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your local guide for a fascinating tour of the medina of Fez. As you wander through the narrow streets, you will be surrounded by the sights and smells of the vibrant marketplace, with fresh fruit, spices and beautiful Moroccan carpets on display. Your guide will take you to see some of the city's most iconic landmarks. This includes the Quaraouiyine Mosque, founded in 859 by Fatima el Fihri, and the Andalusian Mosque, dating back to 860. You will also visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the Medersa (Koranic schools) and the Batha Palace, which is now a museum of arts and Moroccan traditions. Don't miss the opportunity to see the Chouwara tanneries and the lively Souk Attarine. Finally, you will visit Bab Boujloud, with its green and blue ceramics, before returning to your accommodation with your guide.
Day 7: Departure from Fez Airport
Today you will be picked up by your driver, depending on your flight time.
Places to eat & drink in Morocco

Nomad: Located near the Spice Square, it is a modern rooftop spot with a stunning view over the Medina. Trendy and stylish, great for lunch or sunset dinner. Try the lamb burger, spiced calamari, vegetarian tagine and saffron-infused desserts.
Al Fassia: Located in Gueliz (New Town), the vibe is classic, elegant and entirely run by women. Famous for authentic Moroccan cuisine. The lamb shoulder with prunes, chicken pastilla, and traditional couscous is impeccable. Tip: Best to book in advance, especially for dinner.
La Cantine Des Gazelles: Located just off Jemaa el-Fnaa. The vibe is casual, cozy, and budget-friendly with high-quality food and great service. Menu Highlights: Chicken tagine with lemon, grilled brochettes, and fresh juices. Bonus: Very welcoming to tourists and a nice break from the bustle of the Medina.
