Where to stay

Unlock perks by contacting Sofie Keuleneer to book your trip.

Day 1: Spa time & Tejo River stroll

Torre de Belem is a great spot for both sunrise and sunset. Walk, run, or cycle amongst the Tejo River.

Start your trip with a few hours in one of the hotels with amazing spa facilities to relax from your travel. Palácio do Governador is my favorite place for this, and afterwards you can go for a stroll along the Tejo River and eat in one of the restaurants known for seafood. In Belém, you will find the original place for the famous pastel de nata.

Day 2: Walking or tuk-tuk tour

Praça do Comércio, the main square

Wander through the narrow streets of the historic city center and make your way up to Alfama, Chiado, and the trendy neighborhood of Príncipe Real, where each area has its own unique atmosphere and views. Be prepared for some uphill walking, as Lisbon is a very hilly city and many of the most beautiful viewpoints are reached on foot.

If you prefer to save your legs, hop on a tuk-tuk to comfortably navigate the steep streets and still see the best viewpoints and neighborhoods. Book with me for a personal, tailor-made experience and discover Lisbon like a local.

Day 3: Palácio Marquês de Fronteira

Palácio Marquês de Fronteira, one of Lisbon’s most exquisite hidden gems.

Experience the timeless elegance of Palácio Marquês de Fronteira, one of Lisbon’s most exquisite hidden gems. Step into a living palace where noble history, art, and architecture come together in a unique and intimate setting surrounded by lush gardens and iconic blue-and-white tiles.

Through the Albuquerque Foundation, you gain access to exclusive spaces, carefully preserved collections, and a truly authentic atmosphere away from the crowds. Whether for a refined cultural visit, a special event, or a private guided experience, this is the perfect setting for those who appreciate beauty, heritage, and sophistication.

More touristic but nevertheless worth it are the palaces in Sintra. Combine your Lisbon stay with a day (or more) exploring the palaces of Sintra, from colorful hilltop castles to romantic gardens and royal residences. This extension turns your trip into a complete cultural escape, blending Lisbon’s aristocratic charm with Sintra’s fairytale scenery.
