Day 1: Arriving in Jackson Hole

A Huckleberry Margarita for your welcome drink to Wyoming.

Welcome to Wyoming! After arriving in Jackson Hole and checking into the Four Seasons, take your rental car for a short drive to downtown Jackson Hole. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, browse the shops and finish off the evening with a visit to Snake River Brewing Co. Experience live Music at Million Dollar Cowboy bar before heading back to the hotel for some rest.

Day 2: Trails and Lookout Points

The Abyss Pool is a mesmerizing hot spring with its azure waters bordered by vibrant orange and yellow mineral deposits.

Depart the Four Seasons for your next hotel, the Canyon Lodge and Cabins. There are multiple breathtaking scenic overlooks along the way within Grand Teton National Park, as well as some short hikes along the way.

The West Thumb Geyser Basin Trail is an easy one-mile loop with highlights including the Abyss Pool. Next, be sure to check out the Mud Volcano Trail, which is another short loop with lots of bubbling mud and hot springs to admire. Fair warning - the sulfur smell is pretty strong, but it's all part of the Yellowstone experience! As you approach the hotel, there will be several other options for scenic overlook stops. Inspiration Point, Lookout Point and Brink of the Upper Falls will give you a preview of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

Day 3: Geysers and Huckleberry Margaritas

Artists Paint Pots' hiking trail with a view of a deep-blue river and natural greenery on a sunny day.

Be sure to get an early start to beat the breakfast crowds at Canyon Lodge! After breakfast, pack a picnic lunch and take a short drive to the Canyon Rim South Trail. This is a four-mile, easy-to moderate hike with stunning views of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. There will be some crowds at some of the drive-up view points, but the trail itself will be very serene if you get there early.

After your picnic lunch, head to your next hotel, the Old Faithful Inn. On the way, there are multiple can't-miss stops, including Norris Geyser Basin, which is an easy boardwalk trail with a large collection of geothermal features.

Highlights include Steamboat Geyser, the world's tallest geyser, but with an unpredictable eruption schedule. Artists Paint Pots, Fountain Paint Pot Trail and the Grand Prismatic Spring Overlook are also along the way. They all include viewings of all different geothermal features, including geysers, hot springs, mud pots and fumaroles. The hike to the Grand Prismatic Spring Overlook is fairly steep but well worth the view! Park at the Fairy Falls trailhead.

After a full day of sightseeing, check into the Old Faithful Inn and enjoy some Old Faithful eruptions and Huckleberry Margaritas from their viewing deck!

Day 4: Natural Pools and Eruptions

Morning Glory Pool is a breathtaking thermal spring, renowned for its vibrant blue hue and delicate, intricate mineral formations resembling a blooming flower at dawn.

Enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast at the hotel. After mid-morning when the fog has burned off, you can make your way along the Upper Geyser Basin Walking Trail, which is accessible right from the hotel. Highlights along this walk include the Morning Glory Pool, Sapphire Pool, Avoca Spring and Jewel Geyser. Return to the hotel for lunch and a break. Next, embark on a short, but uphill hike to the Old Faithful Observation Point for a birds-eye view of this enchanting site. Be sure to time your hike to coordinate with the eruption schedule. After seeing Old Faithful erupt, head to Solitary Geyser with eruptions every four to eight minutes. Make your way back to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.

Day 5: Last Night at the Four Seasons

View from the top of Grand Prismatic Spring.

After breakfast, depart for the Four Seasons Jackson Hole for your final evening. There are several several scenic overlooks and short hikes along the way. Enjoy an afternoon at the serene pool and spa before getting ready to explore the Teton Village area for dinner. If you're interested in a mountain-top dinner experience, consider making a reservation at Piste Mountain Bistro (open seasonally). Take the Bridger Gondola up to the restaurant. Finish off your last evening with some dessert and drinks by the fire at Handle Bar back at the Four Seasons.
