Our Story
I’ve lived and worked internationally as a nurse in Uganda, Nepal, and New Zealand, and have traveled to over 60 countries—these experiences taught me how to anticipate needs, manage complexity, and care deeply about the people I serve. Today, I bring that same instinct to travel. As founder of Nomadtique, I design thoughtfully coordinated journeys for travelers who value their time as much as the experience itself. Whether it’s a safari in the Serengeti or a week on the Amalfi Coast, every detail is handled so your only job is to arrive.
Travel Style
I plan travel that feels effortless but intentional, with just the right balance of structure and freedom. I care deeply about pacing, details, and how a trip actually feels once you’re there. If you want a beautifully planned journey without overthinking every step, we’ll work well together.

Nomadtique exceeded every expectation, and Summer truly went above and beyond for me and four other girls on our short getaway to beautiful Greece. We traveled to Mykonos and stayed at the stunning Mykonos Blue villa with the most breathtaking views of the crystal-clear turquoise water. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly planned.
Summer surprised us with a private chef dinner on our first night, which was such an amazing way to start our trip. One morning we also had a floating breakfast in our private pool, and it was incredible. It had anything and everything you could imagine with a beautiful Greek flair. It felt luxurious and made our experience even more memorable.
What I appreciated most was how thoughtful Summer was with her recommendations. Whether we wanted a beach vibe, a local town feel, restaurants, or activities, she provided suggestions along with descriptions of each place. That made it so much easier for us to decide where to go and what fit our mood each day.
She also arranged airport transportation, which was amazing considering we had five women and all of our luggage. Every detail was taken care of, making the trip completely stress-free.
I could go on and on about how wonderful this trip was. Summer made everything so easy and effortless that all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. She was always available to answer questions before our trip and even during our stay. Every photo and description she sent us beforehand was spot on—it was truly everything we imagined and more.
We are so grateful for Summer, her service, and the entire Nomadtique team. We will absolutely be using them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless, unforgettable travel experience.

I had an amazing experience with Normadtique! From the very beginning of the planning process all the way through the trip itself, everything was handled seamlessly. The team was incredibly responsive, professional, and truly went the extra mile to make sure every detail was perfect.
One of the highlights was staying at the Four Seasons in Ko Olina—one of their preferred partners—which made the experience feel even more special. We were even surprised with a room upgrade, which elevated our stay beyond expectations. They also recommended an around the island tour by Hawaii Pacific Adventures that ended up being one of our favorite parts of the trip—something we likely never would have found or planned on our own.
The itinerary struck the ideal balance—featuring must-see destinations, luxurious accommodations, and unique local experiences. What impressed me most was how effortlessly they managed all the logistics, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment.
I highly recommend Normadtique to anyone looking for a smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable travel experience!

Summer went out of her way to find the perfect spot on the beach for my family of 5. The process was seamless. She gave me multiple resort options, the ability to use my own reward programs, called several spots to make sure accommodations were adequate, and sent us the absolute best itinerary along with luggage tags. She was available during our stay for changes and even contacted our cruise line after our sailing to set up a bounce back. Highly recommend working with Summer.

Victoria Falls & Chobe: Experiencing Southern Africa’s Greatest Natural Wonder from 3 Countries
Victoria Falls is one of those places that lives up to its reputation—but only if you experience it fully. On our month-long trip across East and Southern Africa, we spent the final week exploring Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides, took a helicopter tour above the gorge, walked the mile-long trail to the Knife Edge Bridge, enjoyed a sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi, and added a cross-border day safari to Chobe National Park in Botswana. This trip report covers the logistics, the properties, the adventure activities, and the dining that made this portion of our journey exceptional.

The Adventure Side of Victoria Falls: A 9-Day Itinerary Across Zimbabwe and Zambia
Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, but what most travelers don’t realize is that it’s also one of Africa’s premier adventure destinations. This itinerary is designed for active, thrill-seeking travelers who want more than a photo at the viewpoint—it’s nine days of helicopters, white water rafting, overnight canoe safaris, walking safaris with white rhinos, Devil’s Pool, bungee jumping, zip-lining, and game drives, all anchored by exceptional lodges on both sides of the Zimbabwe-Zambia border. Fly roundtrip into Livingstone, Zambia from Johannesburg, South Africa, and spend the first six nights on the Zimbabwe side before crossing to Zambia for the final two nights. With an optional one-day extension, you can add a Chobe National Park safari in Botswana, bringing the trip to ten days. This is Victoria Falls for the traveler who wants to feel it, not just see it.

From the Serengeti to the Swahili Coast: Safari, Beach & Zanzibar in 3 Weeks.
East Africa has a special place in my heart—I lived in Uganda in my twenties and worked across the continent as a nurse. When I returned after nearly twenty years with my husband, I wanted to design a trip that went beyond the typical safari-plus-Zanzibar formula. We spent a month traveling through Tanzania and Kenya, and this trip report covers the East Africa portion: four nights on safari in the Serengeti, a week on Kenya’s Diani Beach, and time exploring Zanzibar. If you’re considering combining safari with the East African coast, this is what I learned about making that combination work.

Peru by Rail: A Review of Belmond’s Andean Explorer & Hiram Bingham Trains
My husband and I spent 17 days traveling through Peru in December 2025, and the defining thread of the trip was riding both of Belmond’s Peruvian trains—the Andean Explorer (a three-day, two-night sleeper from Arequipa to Cusco) and the Hiram Bingham (a scenic day train to Machu Picchu). I went in expecting beautiful scenery and came away with something deeper: a real understanding of how these two journeys differ and how to match each one to the right traveler. If you’re considering a rail journey through Peru, this is what I wish I’d known before booking.

Arequipa: Why Peru’s White City Deserves More Than a Layover
Most travelers treat Arequipa as a footnote on the way to somewhere else—if they visit at all. That’s a mistake. Peru’s White City, built from pale volcanic sillar stone and flanked by three towering volcanoes the locals call guardians, has a depth that surprised us at every turn: a culinary scene that rivals Lima’s ambition in a fraction of the space, centuries-old monasteries with stories stranger than fiction, and two traditional markets that reveal more about Peruvian food culture than any restaurant menu ever could. We spent two full days here before boarding the Belmond Andean Explorer, and those days turned out to be among the richest of our entire 17-day trip. Arequipa also sits at roughly 7,600 feet—high enough to begin acclimatizing for the extreme altitudes ahead, but comfortable enough to enjoy every moment on the ground.
