Everywhere you turn, there’s nourishing food, healing practices, and a community centered around mindful living.

Byron Bay is special to me because it perfectly captures the balance between natural beauty and laid-back living. When I visited while traveling through Australia, I immediately fell in love with its stunning beaches, lush hinterlands, and relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes the town feel so unique. From sunrise at the lighthouse to evenings spent listening to live music, every moment felt both grounding and inspiring. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave.

Agra is special to me because it’s where I experienced the Taj Mahal in its most magical light: at sunrise. Arriving at 5 am, I walked through the gates to find the monument bathed in soft golden hues, with almost no one else around. Standing in front of one of the world’s most iconic landmarks in such peace and quiet was surreal, as if the Taj Mahal had revealed itself just for me. That quiet morning made the experience unforgettable and showed me the true beauty of this wonder without the crowds.

Matera is a destination that left me completely in awe with its authenticity and timeless beauty. Walking through the ancient cave dwellings, I felt transported to another era, surrounded by history that’s still very much alive. The warmth of the people and the richness of the food made the experience even more unforgettable. It’s a place where culture, tradition, and daily life come together to create an atmosphere unlike anywhere else I’ve been.

Harbour Island is special to me because it’s been a family tradition, we’ve spent a week here every summer, and it’s a place that keeps drawing us back. I know the island inside and out, the iconic pink sand beach paired with the crystal-clear turquoise water is breathtaking every single time. Beyond the natural beauty, it’s the warmth of the locals and the incredible food that make it feel like home away from home. For me, Harbour Island is the perfect blend of relaxation, connection, and timeless memories.

This destination is special to me because it’s where I grew up skiing and first learned to love the sport. Palisades and Northstar hold so many memories of family ski trips, long days on the slopes, and the excitement of improving each season. For me, North Lake Tahoe isn’t just a ski destination—it’s where my passion for the mountains truly began.

Cusco feels like a city suspended in time, overflowing with charm and history. While it welcomes travelers from all over the world, it has managed to stay deeply authentic and true to its Peruvian roots. What makes it so special to me is the balance it strikes: you can wander cobblestone streets and lively plazas one day, then set off on epic adventures like the Salkantay trek, the Inca Trail, or Rainbow Mountain the next. It’s a place where culture and adventure intertwine seamlessly.

Fiji will always hold a special place in my heart because it surprised me in the best way. I first went as a solo traveler and discovered not just incredible natural beauty—coral reefs, shark dives, and secluded islands—but also the warmth of the Fijian people, who made me feel instantly at home. It’s one of the few destinations that pulled me back again and again, even sharing it with my family the second time around. For me, Fiji isn’t just a honeymoon destination, it’s a place of connection, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
