My travel style can be described as a blend of luxury, spontaneity and a deep appreciation for local culture. Over the years, I have found myself gravitating towards destinations with vibrant music and art scenes, divine food and wine and iconic or interesting histories. As a lover of the finer things in life, I prioritize incorporating at least one aspect of luxury into each trip, regardless of my budget. This could mean splurging on accommodation, enjoying craft cocktails or participating in a unique activity. I believe that luxury can be found at all budgets!
While I do create itineraries for myself when traveling, I am still quite free-spirited. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to dedicate one day or a few hours a day to wandering and getting lost in a new place. This tactic has led to cherished memories and discovering less traveled, more local parts of a location. I love to see how my trip unfolds naturally, but to set myself up for success, I create categorized lists of activities, restaurants, landmarks, etc., so that I am not completely clueless. Additionally, I study the map of places I travel to beforehand to orient myself before I even arrive.
