My 20s were my ultimate adventure travel era—I was quick to throw on a backpack and head out on my own without much of a plan. I was fortunate to visit six continents and live abroad in Africa before I reached the age of 30. These days, I'm focused on sharing the goodness of experiencing the world with my husband and daughter - and seizing opportunities to ground and rejuvenate in the natural world whenever we can. You could catch me cruising my way down the Portuguese coast, little sandy swimsuits drying in the rear dash of a rental car, or self-driving through the Kruger National Park (my favorite place on Earth!) snack bags, sticker books, binoculars, bird books, and coolers loaded. How I roam has shifted as life has evolved, but what hasn't changed—that free-and-alive feeling stepping out of a hotel's front door, with a whole day ahead to discover and explore.
