Our nation’s capital is also wonderfully walkable and incredibly accessible by metro, so you can explore without ever needing a car.

In May of 2024, I took my kids on their first trip to Disney. Our travel group included myself, my husband, our two sons (ages five and two), my mother-in-law, my parents, my sister and my brother (both single adults). We had two Cars suites at the Art of Animation Resort for seven nights with five-day park tickets and Memory Maker. I would absolutely recommend staying here with your kids. I can’t wait to plan another trip back here!

Nashville is a super fun city to visit, especially for groups. The live music scene is hard to beat and there's a luxurious feel to the city. The city also has a great food scene and is clean, safe and walkable. Consider visiting Nashville on your next long weekend!
