Wailea, Maui, holds a special place in my heart as the destination where my husband and I honeymooned 20 years ago. Since then, we've returned numerous times, both with and without our kids, and most recently last year. Many visitors flock to Lahaina, but I believe Wailea is Maui's true gem. It offers serene luxury, walkable charm and incredible dining options that provide a more refined experience without the typical touristy feel. With plenty of exciting activities to enjoy, from ocean adventures to cultural experiences, Wailea's beauty and tranquility is ideal. It is a haven for those seeking relaxation and sophistication.

It’s an easy, direct flight from most Midwest and East Coast cities, compact enough to cover well in four days, and interesting in a way that earns its reputation. The canals, the architecture, the food scene, the bikes everywhere you look give it a unique character. It consistently delivers for the clients I send there, and it’s easy to see why.

I’ve been going to Napa Valley for years, and, despite having visited a few dozen times, I always want to go back. Together, they make Mexico City an ideal getaway for anyone craving exceptional food, immersive culture, and experiences that linger long after you return home.

Marylebone and Mayfair offer a rare balance in London: central and well-connected, yet full of quiet corners and a sense of place. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with kids in tow, this part of the city feels like a retreat from the pace of sightseeing, with leafy streets, beautiful architecture, and spots that locals truly love. It’s a neighborhood where you can start your day with a pastry or full English, walk to a park or stroll the high street, and then settle into dinner at one of London’s top restaurants just blocks from your hotel. For travelers looking to experience London at its most walkable and refined, Marylebone and Mayfair make for an ideal base for seeing the city while feeling like you truly belong in it.

Traverse City has become a cherished retreat for me, a place I’ve visited dozens of times and where my husband and I own a downtown condo. Whether strolling through charming shops, enjoying local cuisine, hiking scenic trails or exploring the wineries or breweries in the region, Traverse City embodies a unique blend of natural beauty and small-town charm that makes it a truly magical place in every season.
