My Story
I'm a mom of two adventurous boys, a list-maker by nature, and a travel advisor who believes the best trips don't just happen—they're built. I specialize in family travel, U.S. National Parks, and Poland, crafting itineraries where every detail is handled so you can simply show up and make memories.
Travel Style
Adventure-forward but never overwhelming. I design trips for families, couples, and groups where the big bucket-list moments sit alongside slow mornings and hidden local spots you won't find on a Google search. My job is to handle every detail—the logistics, the timing, the right room with the right view—so that by the time you arrive, all you have to do is be present. Every itinerary is built around your pace, your people, and what actually matters to you.

Ashley is a phenomenal travel advisor! She is very patient and does not put any pressure on you to make a decision. She looks to see what would make the most sense for lodging based off of what you are trying to do and what you want to see. I will continue to use Ashley for all of my family travel needs!

Ashley offered advice from when she had traveled to Croatia in the past. It was extremely helpful to hear what she and her family enjoyed when they visited Croatia. I appreciated her honesty about what was worth it and some hidden gemstones to seek out. She’s the best and definitely has a niche for meeting your travel needs!

Ashley did a fantastic job planning our trip thru Poland. She picked our hotels, arranged our driver and offered us flexibility with what we specifically wanted to explore tour-wise. Any questions along the way, she was quick to follow up on. Through the Fora App we had access to our daily travel itinerary which was very helpful. I appreciated her professional knowledge and the ability to have her customize the trip to our needs; it was perfect! I would use Ashley again in the future for our travel planning.

Hotel Copernicus: The Hotel That Made Kraków Feel Personal
Our stay at Hotel Copernicus genuinely set the tone for our entire trip. We were in Kraków at the start of a multi-generational Poland heritage journey, tracing our family roots across the country with 11 people ranging in age from 40 to 85. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt personal and truly special. Staying in a 14th century building on the oldest street in the city added so much atmosphere, but it was really the warmth of the staff that made it feel right for the kind of trip we were on. When you’re traveling somewhere deeply meaningful, the hotel matters more than usual. This one delivered.

A Heritage Journey Through Poland: A Multi-Generational Trip Beyond the Tourist Trail
My recent trip through Poland was unlike any other travel experience I’ve had because it wasn’t centered around sightseeing alone. We traveled as an 11 person multi-generational group and built our journey around the places connected to our family history: small villages, churches where generations were baptized and married, and cemeteries where relatives were laid to rest. Stepping away from the typical tourist path allowed us to experience a quieter, more personal side of Poland that felt deeply meaningful. It was a reminder that sometimes the most impactful trips are not the ones built around famous landmarks but the ones that help you better understand your own story and where you come from.

Munich for Families: Biergartens, Castles & Bavarian Day Trips
Munich ended up being one of the most family-friendly cities we visited on our spring trip through Europe. What made it stand out was how easy it felt to balance classic sightseeing with outdoor spaces, relaxed meals, and slower moments together as a family. Between the biergartens, the English Garden, lively public squares, and unforgettable day trips into Bavaria, there was always something that appealed to both adults and kids. It’s the kind of destination that feels active and exciting without ever feeling overwhelming.

Malta With Kids: A Family-Friendly Guide to Valletta, Gozo & More
Malta was one of the biggest surprises of our travels. It is a destination that blends history, coastal beauty, and island culture in a way that feels both approachable and unique for families. We used St. Julian as our home base and spent our days exploring Valletta, Mdina, Gozo, and several other highlights across the island. What makes Malta so special is how much variety you can pack into a short stay: ancient cities, scenic ferry rides, seaside views, and charming streets that feel like they belong in a movie. It’s a fantastic option for families who want Europe with a relaxed island feel and a mix of sightseeing and downtime.

Rome with Kids: A Family-Friendly Guide to the Eternal City (Without the Burnout)
Rome is one of those bucket-list cities that truly lives up to the hype, but it can feel overwhelming when traveling with kids, especially if you try to do too much at once. We visited during Holy Week with our boys (ages 9 and 11) and extended family, including toddlers and a baby. Traveling with such a large, multi-gen group reinforced how important pacing is in this city. The magic of Rome isn’t just the main tourist sites but also the quiet early mornings, the gelato breaks and the unforgettable moments that happen when you slow down and take it all in. With the right tours and a family-friendly rhythm, Rome becomes an incredible destination that kids will remember forever.

Family-Friendly Luxury in Costa Rica: Our Stay at Andaz Peninsula Papagayo
Costa Rica had long been on our family’s list, and this stay at Andaz Peninsula Papagayo struck the perfect balance between tropical relaxation and meaningful adventure. With five nights on property, we were able to fully experience the resort’s thoughtful design, exceptional service, and family-friendly programming while still weaving in a taste of Costa Rica’s wild beauty. What makes this property special is its flexibility since it works beautifully for multi-generational families, couples, or groups who want equal parts downtime and activity without constantly changing hotels. Nashville With Kids: A Low-Key, Family-Friendly Guide to Food, Fun & Local Vibes
Nashville surprised us in the best way! Visiting friends who live locally gave our family a chance to experience the city beyond the usual tourist checklist, with a mix of classic Nashville sights and easy, everyday fun that worked well for our kids. It’s definitely a city that is easy to do with a loose itinerary. From wandering charming small towns just outside the city to sampling casual restaurants and coffee stops, this trip felt relaxed, approachable, and full of personality. It’s a destination we’d happily return to, especially in a different season, to explore even more.

Prague’s Christmas Markets: A Festive Family Trip Through Czechia’s Most Charming Towns
My family spent a full week in Prague over the New Year holiday, using the city as our anchor while exploring some of Czechia’s most picturesque towns. Prague makes an incredible home base for a winter family trip due to its fairy-tale architecture, walkable Old Town, and lively Christmas markets. The city feels festive without being overwhelming, and once you add in easy day trips to Český Krumlov and Karlovy Vary, you have the perfect blend of culture, charm, and holiday magic. This itinerary is designed for families who want to soak up the Christmas atmosphere at a comfortable pace, with time to wander markets, warm up indoors, and enjoy the season together.

Epic Family Adventure in the National Parks: Cuyahoga in Fall
Cuyahoga Valley National Park was the fifth national park my family visited, and it turned out to be the perfect fall weekend escape. With its mix of boardwalks, waterfalls, wildlife, and easy trails, this park is incredibly accessible for families with young children. Whether you’re local to the Midwest or flying into Cleveland for a quick getaway, CVNP offers just the right amount of adventure without overwhelming little legs. In this guide, I’m sharing a full weekend itinerary that mirrors how we structured our own trip in October. It’s paced intentionally for families with slow mornings, realistic driving times, plenty of sensory-friendly nature experiences, and enough “wow” moments to get everyone excited for your next national park adventure.

Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Site Visit: Perfect for Families, Outdoor Fun & Multi-Gen Getaways
Located on the shores of North Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino combines rustic alpine charm with modern resort amenities. It’s one of the area’s most well-known properties and although it is undergoing an extensive renovation to its beach area, I would not hesitate to recommend a visit to this property. My family spent a week at this property over the summer and we are already planning our trip back! For families planning a Lake Tahoe getaway, it’s worth understanding what’s available now and what exciting changes are on the horizon.

Big Apple, Big League: A 10th Birthday with Yankees & NYC Adventures
In my family, we started the tradition of celebrating our boys’ 10th birthdays with a special trip—just for them. For my oldest son, there was no question where he wanted to go: New York City, with a Yankees game at the heart of the adventure. It was his very first visit to NYC, so we set out to do all the quintessential “first-time” experiences, from the Empire State Building to strolling Central Park. What made it even more memorable was pairing the game with a Yankees Stadium tour, giving him a whole day of baseball magic before cheering on his team. Between iconic sights, unforgettable birthday moments, and a few sweet treats, this trip was the perfect blend of a milestone celebration and a classic New York adventure.

Family Adventure in Scotland: Castles, Coasts & Highland Charm
Scotland’s blend of history, dramatic landscapes, and welcoming towns makes it a wonderful family destination. For us, this was the second part of a larger Ireland and Scotland adventure, but it also works beautifully as a standalone trip. Families can follow this five-day loop through Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Aberdeen, and Inverness before returning to the capital, or expand it into a longer Scotland-focused itinerary. From castle ruins and legendary lochs to seaside villages, each stop brings something new—all at a pace that works with kids in tow. Trust me, our boys were 1 and 3 on this trip, so I get it! We found the Scottish Highlands to be pure magic and can’t wait to plan a return trip now that our boys are older.

Epic Family Adventure in the National Parks: Lassen Volcanic, Redwood & Crater Lake
This summer, my family embarked on a road trip through Northern California and Oregon to explore three of the West Coast’s most stunning national parks. Each stop brought something completely new—steaming geothermal features, ancient redwoods towering overhead, and the sapphire-blue depths of Crater Lake. Traveling with kids, we found the balance of shorter hikes, scenic drives, and playful downtime made the adventure not only doable but truly unforgettable. Whether you’re traveling with kids or just looking for a mix of outdoor beauty and family-friendly activities, this route is packed with variety and wonder.

Epic Family Adventure in the National Parks: Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Arches 9-Day Itinerary
This Utah road trip was my family’s introduction to the US National Parks out west. Once we experienced just how varied and amazing our landscape is in the United States, we were hooked and have now been to seven more parks! However, few places offer the wild magic and cinematic landscapes of Utah’s “Mighty Five”. For families looking to strike the perfect balance between adventure and ease, this thoughtfully paced 9-day itinerary stitches together the best of Utah’s treasures—from the red rock cathedrals of Zion to the whimsical hoodoos of Bryce Canyon and the gravity-defying arches of Moab, all capped with culture and comfort in Salt Lake City. Here’s how to turn Utah’s untamed beauty into the family road trip of a lifetime.

Get off the Beaten Path With Your Family: Zagreb, Ljubljana, and Venice
If you’re looking for family-friendly destinations without all the crowds that normally plague European capital cities, then look no further than Zagreb and Ljubljana. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a reason London, Paris, and Rome are perennial favorites for travelers around the world. However, my husband and I were searching for somewhere more under the radar, and Zagreb and Ljubljana delivered. We had such a pleasant experience while traveling throughout Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy with our then two- and four-year-old boys. I encourage you to think outside the box and consider Zagreb and Ljubljana for your next family trip!

Poland’s Christmas Markets: A Festive Family Trip Through 4 Cities
After years of talking about visiting the Christmas markets in Europe, my family finally decided to make this trip a reality. We were a large family group of 15 people spanning the ages of six months all the way to 60 years, so we needed to prioritize budget and ease of travel. While we researched all the popular and more well-known markets in Germany, France, and beyond, we were on the hunt for a more budget-friendly and under-the-radar destination. We kept coming back to Poland and finally decided it was the perfect place for us. We had an amazing time exploring this often-overlooked country and we can’t wait to head back in other seasons to explore all that Poland has to offer.
