Located on the cliffs above Mononaftis Bay near Agia Pelagia, Acro Suites is a contemporary, adults-only wellness resort with a strong focus on design and holistic living.
The name “Acro” comes from the Greek word “akron,” meaning “edge”—reflecting its dramatic cliffside setting. A three-night stay is average, but I recommend four nights to fully immerse yourself in this tranquil place.

The resort features 45 suites and four villas, each designed with natural materials like stone and wood, neutral tones, and clean lines. Many offer private pools and panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. There are five room categories.

The Wave XL is in the middle category, with sea views, a garden, and an infinity pool.

The Cave Suite, which is the most Instagram-famous thing about this hotel, lives up to its expectations. The pool is heated since it is under the cave and isn’t exposed to direct sunlight. The tub has incredible sea views as well. There are only seven of these of the resort’s 45 rooms total—and they get booked fast!
The Loft Suite is the highest category, featuring living space on the second floor with views of the sea from the bed. Only one has sunset views to the west, while the rest face north.
Wellness is central to the Acro experience. The property’s bath house includes a Byzantine-inspired hammam, Finnish sauna, cold plunge pool, and treatment rooms offering massages and holistic therapies. They offer three- and five-day packages for those with an extended stay. There are two gyms: A smaller gym is open 24/7, and the other is housed in a building that looks like a nest.
There is an extensive yoga shala schedule, with multiple classes offered daily; most classes are 1.5 hours long. Guests can also take part in sound healing sessions and use the tennis and paddle courts
Through our preferred partners, you get breakfast daily at Cremonos (which you can also eat lunch and dinner at). Dining options emphasize health and sustainability, with seasonal, locally sourced menus and a focus on Mediterranean flavors. Cremnos is a farm-to-table restaurant focused on Cretan cuisine.

Enjoy poolside service for lunch or snacks or drinks. Grab a drink by the bar or sitting area with views of the sea, Crete, and neighboring island of Deia.
Eleonas is a private dining area that hosts wine and olive oil tastings.
The sister hotel, Seaside Resort, has a Japanese and Peruvian restaurant, Umi. The sunset views while enjoying dinner here are a must during your stay.

Acro Suites is ideal for travelers seeking a stylish, wellness-oriented escape in a quiet coastal setting.
