The Kayon Jungle Resort in Ubud Bali has the Wow Factor at Every Turn

The river villa pool suites are lovely, however, there is a difference between the 5 villas — villa # 2 and 3 or 4 are the most desirable for jungle views from the 2 large window walls as they are corner rooms. The private pools are wonderful.

The restaurant is amazing, the wait staff friendly and capable and the food is tasty and presented as an art form. I loved the welcome drink and had it throughout our stay. It was mint, honey, fresh lime and ginger blended with ice — refreshing and delicious! All of our meals were wonderful and in a romantic location looking out on the pool

The main pool is so beautiful, we spent a lot of time there, it is very romantic at night with the mood lighting and the jungle sounds in the background.

We took a yoga class and were the only ones, so we received one-on-one instruction.

The shuttle service is convenient to use, it made our stay so much better to just hop in and out of Ubud town. We passed a few festivals on the way that added to the cultural mix.

The general manager is very pleasant, professional, accommodating and friendly. Every staff person went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

The spa is excellent. I had a manicure/pedicure/scrub and Bail massage and really enjoyed the opportunity to just relax and be pampered.

The hotel and staff is 5-star. It is a gorgeous, upscale boutique hotel that really is a stand out in an area of so many other accommodations.

I highly recommend this hotel for celebrating that special occasion. Ours was our wedding anniversary and we were served a delicious cake which we appreciated.
