From politics to travel entrepreneur
Becca Santos was working in political fundraising when she learned about Fora. As a natural entrepreneur who had run several businesses, she was drawn to the idea of building another endeavor around her passion for travel.
“I love to travel, and I've always wanted to go back into doing my own thing,” Becca recalled.
In addition to being her own boss, Becca was grateful for the stability Fora brought her, especially after weathering some unexpected life circumstances.
“Last month, Fora paid my rent,” she said. “I feel really, really lucky to be with Fora and to have all the content Fora creates and be able to market myself using that.”
Her marketing has paid off. A $30,000 group booking for a couples’ trip to Greece made her realize a full-time career in travel was possible.
“That was the moment where I was like, oh, this could be a thing,” she said. “I was really excited the last couple of months to see how business has been growing. I'm just really excited to be a Fora Advisor and be able to build my business."
Saving 40 hours per week with Fora's marketing assets
Becca has a master's degree in digital marketing and data analytics, so she immediately recognized the value of the marketing assets—email templates, Instagram templates, articles—that Fora provides to advisors.
“Creating all of that content in itself is a full-time job,” she said. “So the idea that I can just plug and play probably saves me 40 hours a week."
Fora's ready-to-go marketing assets save Becca time every week
Fora provides comprehensive marketing training, plus all the social media and email templates advisors need to grow their business.

One of her favorite marketing tools is Fora’s Magic Articles. These pre-written articles are created by in-house experts and leverage imagery and insider intel, but display an advisor as the author, allowing the advisor to share inspiring travel content with current and prospective clients. Each piece also has strategically embedded calls to action (CTAs) that allow a reader to reach out directly to the advisor.
Becca is especially aware of the significant amount of time she saves by using these assets as marketing ammunition.
“You could spend hours, days, weeks, putting together a content plan and then having to create the content itself,” Becca said, “whereas I can just go in and create a content plan using Fora's assets. It's just so easy.”
How Magic Articles led to major bookings
Becca's strategic use of Fora's Magic Articles have led to her biggest client wins. Her top client, who's now booked over 10 trips with her, first discovered Becca through a wellness-getaway article she shared in a Facebook group. And even when Becca doesn't share Magic Articles directly, she uses the content for inspiration.
“I'll use the content from the article in an email or repurpose it in some way,” she said. “Being able to put myself out there using that content has been massive.”

Becca commonly repurposes Magic Articles for email marketing, which she prefers to social media. Luckily, Fora provides the training and assets for all types of marketing strategies, so you can focus on what you like best. Even though Instagram marketing is not her favorite, Becca found Fora’s live social media training session incredibly useful.
“That was helpful in getting me to actually go back and start trying to do this again," she said of the session.
In addition to Fora’s marketing resources and live training, Becca also leans on Fora’s community.
“Whenever I talk to other advisors that are not Fora advisors, I gush about how much I love this community,” she said. “I've made some really great friends through Fora, and I love how much everyone is there to help each other out.”
