Curator’s statement
When I planned my first trip to Asia I felt like, “There are so many places I want to see, but not enough time!” I needed a way to experience as much as possible without feeling rushed or exhausted. That’s when I discovered the perfect solution: a cruise around Asia. I found a 10-day cruise from Bangkok to Manila that checked off many of the destinations on my wishlist, including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam. It turned out to be one of the best travel decisions I’ve made. Cruising allowed me to explore a variety of cultures and landscapes without the hassle of constant packing, airport lines, or travel fatigue. Each stop offered a unique taste of the country’s culture, cuisine, and charm. It felt like a sampler platter of Asia, and it gave me a clearer idea of where I would love to return in the future for a deeper, more immersive experience. That’s one of the things I love most about cruising: it lets you get a feel for multiple countries in a short amount of time, helping you discover the places that truly speak to your heart.
