Need to know

San Miguel is very casual, so leave the heels at home—cobblestone streets and fancy footwear don’t mix. If you’re dining at upscale spots, dress smart but still comfortable.

Have some pesos on hand for taxis, small shops, and local vendors. While Uber exists, walking or taking a taxi is your best bet.

For flights, BJX (León) and QRO (Querétaro) are your closest airport options. Both require a car service to San Miguel—many hotels can arrange this for you.
