Curator’s statement

Seoul will bring you some feel good soul in additional to some K-pop from great food and unique cafe spots. Korea is a diverse region that brings thrift, business and music together. I had a change to snag some vintage vinyl, catch a Syd concert and jam to great live music.

Districts

Myeongdong district - Grab a bite to eat with traditional taste in my favorite Yoogan restaurant.

Namdaemun Market - Traditional shopping for thrifting and vintage souvenirs.

Gangnam Fashion District - High-end shopping for luxury designer clothes and gifts that Korea has to offer.

Things to Do

Baseball Game: Baseball is a very popular sport during the season in Korea. I recommend grabbing some beer and catching a baseball game at the Jamsil Sports Complex stadium.

Pub Crawl: Explore the popular Itaewon district for high-end shopping and a pub crawl in Hongdae.

Pohang Hwanho Park Space Walk: Catch the metro to the space walk park and suspend yourself at new heights.

Head to the Leeum Museum for contemporary art. Good area to walk. Explore Temples: Bongwonsa Temple, Geumsunsa Temple. Not far from the city to immerse yourself in colorful traditional structures and scenery.
