Curator’s statement
The moment I arrived in Prague, I knew I’d be coming back. There’s something undeniably magical about this city. As I wandered through its cobblestone streets, I felt like I’d stepped into the pages of a storybook, each corner revealing scenes more enchanting than the last. Time and again, I caught myself pausing on the sidewalk, simply to take in the astonishing architectural details. Look up, and you will find intricate carvings of faces and figures watching silently from centuries-old facades, silent witnesses to Prague’s layered history. What truly defines the experience, though, is getting a little lost. It is in those unplanned detours that the city’s hidden gems reveal themselves: quiet courtyards, tucked-away cafes, and local shops brimming with character. Prague offers an unforgettable mix of cozy cafes, specialty coffee houses, atmospheric bars, incredible restaurants, stylish boutiques, and one-of-a-kind experiences. It is unlike any city I have ever been to, and it leaves you wanting more.

Day 1: Arrival day

The ice cream in the chimney cake tasted homemade
You have officially arrived in Prague! One of the best things to do in Prague is get lost in the streets with no itinerary. Prague is incredibly charming, with cobblestone streets, street food vendors, and boutique shops everywhere. You will never run out of things to do. Let your nose guide you as to where to eat. I can honestly say that I felt very safe in Prague as a female walking around by myself.
Make sure to explore the Old Town Square and see the famous Astronomical Clock—and try a chimney cake at Trdelník & Coffee.
Day 2: Castle District with a twist

Prague Castle
Visit the Prague Castle, a breathtaking castle built in the 9th century.
Have lunch at Medieval Tavern U Sedmi Švábů, a medieval-themed tavern in a hidden alley
Explore Loreto, an underappreciated and stunning baroque pilgrimage site, and Nový Svět (New World Street), quiet cobblestone streets with a storybook vibe near Prague Castle.
In the evening, enjoy a hidden gem bar hopping tour! Prague is famous for its beer.
Day 3: Admire the view

Old Charles Bridge
Take a stroll across the Old Charles Bridge and admire the craftsmanship of the statues as you head to Petřín Gardens, perched on a hillside in the center of Prague with stunning views overlooking the city.
Stop at the local street markets or festivals as you walk around.
Have dinner at Želva beers & burgers. I always crave a good burger when I travel!
In the evening, go to Cave Bar: Popocafepeti- Michalaska, an incredible hidden gem down an alleyway—underground. Definitely try the chupito shot!
Day 4: Day tour to Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland

Dresden, Germany
Prague is close to the Switzerland and Germany borders. Take a day tour to Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland or take the Flexi bus to Dresden, Germany, about an hour-and-a-half bus ride.
In the evening, catch a jazz show at Jazz Dock—it’s right on the river and has a chill vibe.
Day 5: Soak up the final moments

Enjoy a lunch river cruise and see the city from a new view! Explore on your own, do some final shopping, and end the night with dinner and a show at Mozart Dinner Prague—dinner and an incredible performance in a stunning opera house.
Need to know
While in Prague you will find that many of the local shops or bars accept cash only (Czech Koruna, CZK).
Walking is the best method of transportation because there are various hidden gems along the way.
Czech beer is cheaper than water: Try local brews like Pilsner Urquell or Kozel.
Traditional Czech food is hearty: Try goulash, svíčková (beef in creamy sauce), and trdelník (though this pastry is more touristy).
Reservations are recommended at popular restaurants and bars.
Visit the attractions like the Charles Bridge or Astronomical Clock early or late to miss the crowds.
Avoid taxis. Use Bolt or Liftago.
